Major exp still is in a weird state where every source of it is for such a short time and the buff is so strong that it feels like you are in stop and go traffic.
This has mainly been an annoyance since the dreaded murkmire changes post swift jewelry meta. Where the duration of major exp was drastically reduced across the game due to swift jewelry being too strong upon release, in later changes the actual problem, swift, was also finally reduced. However movement buffs never got brought back up to a higher duration.
The fluid combat of the game is what was really hurt, where we get the traffic feeling when moving rather than a smooth movement feeling.
Ideally major exp could be reduced by some degree and then the durations would be increased.
Ideally after these changes all major buffs should be equivalent so if you choose to run major exp potions instead of major crit potions or major fort potions they should all have the same uptime. Otherwise what is the point of balancing the major buffs if some of them are going to be left unbalanced.
Minor Exp could have been left alone or reduced to 8% and Major could have been cut down to 20% with more constant uptimes.
