Random normal below lvl 50 - ending up in a group for a vet

This bug happened at least three times with my newer characters below lvl 50 so far after the Stonethorn patch, PC-EU. Queueing solo for a random normal, ending up in a group for some vet dungeon, unable to port in as I'm under lvl 50.
I also saw other lowbies auto-added into the same group as me in some of these cases. Everyone eventually realizes there's no way for us all to start the dungeon, and the group falls apart with everyone having to wait 15 minutes before they can queue again.
It felt confusing when it happened the first time, by the third this is quite frustrating. Can we please have a fix for this, or at least a post acknowledging the issue? Thank you.

✭This happened to me five times tonight on a level 40s alt. I'm CP 810. It's irritating because I got the timer penalty for leaving group every time.

TheEverwordSoul ShrivenSame thing has been happening to me on Xbox. Queue for random norm on a new character. Queue pops but cannot travel into the instance because it is saying it is a vet instance. The rest of the group confirms it is not a vet instance. If I look under social-group the dungeon difficulty has been switched to veteran even though you cannot manually set it to this as an under 50 character. The only option is to have them kick you from the group or manually leave yourself both incurring a 15 minute penalty just to have it happen again the next time the queue pops.
