Pchat help

My addon is not using the pchat colors for chat it is being over ridden by the main game chat colors! Anyone able to help me fix it?

Have you asked on the addon page? That would be my first place to start.

If you have another addon that alters chat they'll conflict and pchat won't work right. I'd try turning off other addons or libs (libgarfield is an offender) that may be causing the problem and see if your pchat starts functioning properly again.

Ack. Guess the author didn't bother to respond. Sorry, I don't use that addon, so can't be of any more help.

Thanks! Found out it was (LibGarfield) by turning each letter off at a time.

Wrong guess, the author always responds and tells the same to do like you have provided as help here:
Turn off all other addons and libraries and do your researches locally as we got no insight into the addons or tools your computer uses

Well, and telling you to read the description, sticky comment posts, where libraries that are breaking the addon (in this case pChat) are also named... *sigh*
