The Remnant of Argon quest area broken

I am at what I believe is close to the end of the Murkmire story quest, The Remnant of Argon, where I have to "Kill Kassandra". I watched my NPC companion run into the cave, Kassandra changed into the boss, and I cannot follow because an invisible wall is preventing me from going in to perform the quest. I've left and come back, logged out and back in, etc, etc several times with the same results. I have a support ticket open for this but wanted to see if anyone else experienced this issue and was able to work around it.
