Your main role/attribute

Haven't seen a recent poll on this so decided to make one and see what's popular in 2020. What role and attribute is everyone using?

Healers are almost exclusively magicka-based, tanks use both attributes but typically rely on stamina. Legit hybrid are the most fun but sub-optimal.

Now this is an hard one, all need to be able to do damage for doing overland content efficient but here 15k is overkill, I say I more into tanking and healing with an shift toward tanking last year.

for me probably like 50% tank, 30% stamina DD, 5% magicka DD, 15% healer

I mostly Heal but can perform any role on my Main character. I have a regular stam Tank but also have a Magicka Tank that does pretty well in Vet Dungeons. I Primary Ice staff and backbar Resto Staff but switch to Sword & Board for the more difficult content. Plague doctor makes tanking more fun bc you can dump all your attribute points into Stam or Mag don't have to rely on the Healer being competent enough to supply you with a steady stream of rss.

Well said! esp after the buff, plague doctor is great for a versatile tank. I enjoy magicka tanks more, tbh, but that's bc I'm magicka oriented.

Healer atm, bored since I hit end game, will switch to a Tank-heal so we can 3 DD and do some vdlc DG success faster. Gonna do unchained like this too.

My mag sorc for all croup content
And my stamblade that complete everyting in the game for completition sice its my first one

Running dungeons I'm always on tank or healer. All my characters who aren't built to be a tank or healer are built with PvP/solo play in mind. Two of those character are glass cannon builds so I'll sometimes use them as dungeon dps if I'm in the mood, but I haven't in a while.

Depends, PvP or PvE.
I mainly play in Cyrodiil so I guess hybrid?
For PvE with guild it is tank.
For PvE with randoms I usually go as magicka DPS, but can do any role.

I see that atm there are most Healers.

I believe that is because we now have more time to lurk on the forums as ZOS has made out roles redundant outside of Trials.

AND after the trials i tried to run last night, the lag kills people before i can even get a heal cast.

Right now I play healer or stam dps. I do have several mag dps ready to go as well. I tend to go on spurts with them until I get bored, or get an idea for something new to try.

It's easy to misinterpret the poll, but it actually shows that 42% of players prefer DPS (magicka or stamina), as opposed to 1/4 which focuses on healing. Tanks are the least favourite option. This seems quite accurate.

Its difficult as I have multiple toons, the ones used most frequently are:

1. Stamplar DPS
2. MagSorc Pet DPS
3. Magden Frost Tank
4. StamSorc DPS
5. StamDK Offtank/Dps/Solo

All 3 roles.... last time i was a DD without buff-food and cheap pots because I got into a fake tank and fake heal team setup.... so i "faked" my DD as well
At least it was some kind of fun and bearable then. (still did 40-50% dmg in a 4x DD run...and it's just hilarious to see the less experienced players to keep up with being .... ****** and faking roles in grp finder )

I tank most of the time on my characters. Prefer stamdps over magdps and I have one dk healer. Been recently doing solo builds because I find the game more fun that way recently.

Hybrid Nightblade.
I do a lot of ressource runs and nightblade is just unbeatable for that.
200% Movement Speed with common gear...
Plus: I collected nearly all Skyshards and did all the dungeons, so I have a lot of skill points, that i can use this char for my crafting.

Nord Templar. SnB front, destro back. When soloing, the destro is fire. In group content it's ice. 19/38/19. Has completed all content types except dueling.
