Ok, looking at ESO Logs its plain to see loads of peeps are using Stranglers and B4B and hitting some crazy big numbers.
But, I ask...take away those little goodies and what are we left with?
Which Class, mag build, is the big "bwana" in terms of dps?
Damn, should have made this a poll.....ah well....answer in what any way you seem fit. Just curious as to where the Classes fall without the Mythic and vamp bonuses, thats all.

    Yea, I have tried Magblade but just something about them.....aesthetically they are just lacking for me....no fire, flames, lightning nor bugs....just some red glowy bits so while the damage is up there...the "fun factor" isnt, and it is a game afterall and having fun is a big part, or should be. ;)
    Love my MagDK and Magden but am keen to give something else a go, the only drawback with Sorcs for me are the titty birds and the fact that everyone and their Mother is playing one. But that can be said for any class really so meh...I shall see what drops in 4 days!!

    yeah maglbade is pretty much just click and see numbers. same with stamblade.

    You can only exclude skills not gear, he is still running stranglers, also it is about next patch not this one. That's the first parse I saw which didn't include the things you don't want https://www.esologs.com/reports/FQd7TpA4KCvf6R9h#fight=5&type=summary&source=1 but even I hit harder on mag sorc without "cheese" (idk why you excluded siroria and rele next patch they are much more viable in actual content). So I wouldn't grey out other classes cause people don't post their atro logs.

    i just missed one ID, stranglers have 2 effects, one of which I forget to filter.
    So actually, yes, you can exclude any gear that has some sort of a active buff.

    I did just notice one thing though, those are all dummy logs. I dont bother with that, I look at actual Boss fights...casts and such, not a stand in one spot parse. Gives me a better look at what is being used in what fight. But still great info! ;)

    fast intro for anyone interested in filtering some crap out of esologs - that GUI is very bad, unintuitive, and hidden, with no "whispering" so I recommend:
    1. you can see that url https://www.esologs.com/zone/rankings/13#boss=3009&partition=5 , this is a collection of all parses, showing you only the top 100.

    2. Its next part is where you need to insert stuff. ( &search=abilities.ID.ID.ID%7Cnoabilities.ID.ID.ID , where ID is any identificator that identifies an "ability" (in esologs, everything is an ability - buff, debuff, skill)).

    So for example, I look up the Major Vulnerability on eso logs - https://www.esologs.com/reports/hP2MNGvLmaJn7HRY#fight=1&type=auras&hostility=1&spells=debuffs&ability=122389

    I see an ID of 122389, slap that number in the filter, via gui or by hand into the url. - https://www.esologs.com/zone/rankings/13#boss=3009&search=abilities.122389 , boom youve got your list of fight where Major Vuln is, and that list is full of necros as expected.

    If I want to see all of the parses where Zaan was used, just look up the ID of the Zaan Ability - https://www.esologs.com/reports/hP2MNGvLmaJn7HRY#fight=1&type=damage-done&source=1&ability=102136

    Boom, https://www.esologs.com/zone/rankings/13#boss=3009&search=abilities.102136 , and if you want the parses without a zaan just change the 'abilities' to 'noabilities'. Easy as that.

    You can join these includes and excludes, so for example I want to see if there is anyone using zaan and not using siroria - siroria has 2 ids, 110067 and 110143

    So @zvavi once again, yes you can exclude armor, if that armor has some sort of an ability

    Probs magblade, as said, but something about being a stealth assassin that lugs around a staff like freakin Gandalf doesn't sit right with me so I never got into magblade

    I don't know. MagBlade is one of those archetypes you don't see too often. Mage Assassin was my favorite class in Shadowbane and was one of the main reason I even came to ESO in the first place. Granted I don't enjoy playing MagBlade and it's my crafter and I don't play it anymore. But still...

    None of the classes are "top." They all have their unique abilities and playstyles and no class is inherently stronger than the other (although some skills might be a bit on the broken side). It more or less depends on the individual and the specific setup that works best for them.

    It is already this patch, and additional 250 spell/wd, 10% crit dmg in execute 5% outside execute, more sustain (when adds u dmged dies 2k resources back)
