Yes I know another BG request, but hear me out.

Hey guys and gals,
I know there have been a ton of requests, ideas and yes, complaints about bgs lately, specifically in regards to not being able to team up. I wanted to put out an idea that I thought might sit well with a lot of people. I have come to the conclusion you can't make everyone happy in this game so I threw that out the window. So here is the idea. I would propose that there are two different Queing systems, one for "small" scale aka 1-2 players and one for larger groups aka 3-4. The 1-2 player bracket would consist of the normal 3 teams and if a two player team has been selected the other teams must have at least one 2 player team on it as well this way it can remain even and competitive. I realize Que times would increase slightly to make sure each team has at least one 2 player team on it, but for the sake of playing with friends again (which is one of the big reasons I want to play this game) I would surely be willing to wait in a 5 min que (on average this week my Ques have been 2-3 min so even doubling it would not be the end of the world for me) If not enough 2 player teams sign up and you have 12 single players in que by all means start the bg and let the team of 2 wait in Que until two more teams of two can be located. I would certainly be willing to wait. My suspicion is most match ups would be every team has one group of 2 and the other 6 spots would be filled with singles unless on the off chance you have 6 teams of 2 waiting in Que. Now for the slightly more complex part.

The 3-4 player bracket. This one is easy if all three teams have 4 players, boom done. It gets a little more complex if a team of 3 opts to Que up. This is where I propose a few different solutions. 1. ZOS implements a checkbox for the team lead that states it is "ok" for your team to be down a man when selected. 2. Single players can opt into 3 player teams by selecting a box that states being auto-filled into a team of 3 is "ok" or finally, ZOS removes queing as 3 completely and you need to go find that fourth player.

Now I realize this will still make some people unhappy because they don't want any teams... well I guess I can't argue with that, but I believe this would be a nice solution to still have small scale teams not get steamrolled by premades of 3 or 4, but still allow for us to play with that friend in a competitive environment. Just my two cents. This is coming from someone that really wants to team up again, but not get steamrolled by groups of 4 on teamspeak. I also realize up to this point Que systems have not been ZOS strong point, but I don't think that should be a reason not to try and push for something that works better for most people. Well that's all I got, It got a little lengthy I guess, but hopefully it got my idea across, let me know what ya think. Thanks all and happy FRIDAY!!!

Look this has already been suggested plenty of times as well.

BGs are a joke at their most fundamental level. 3 team format should have never been a thing period.

They should have been 8vs8 (NOT DEATH MATCH) with each bg map specific to its game type and objectives properly designed to incentivize and force pvp engagement while also playing said objectives.

Then, premades would only ever be limited to 4man. So what would happen is you would have 4+4 vs 4+4 at best, and then it would step down from there, eg. 4+2+1+1 or 3+1+4 etc etc as team composition make ups. A 4 man premade only has so much influence in an 8 man bg so long as the bgs are well designed with proper geography and objectives that split players up last they face a swift loss. This has been successfully executed in numerous mmos and the nonsensical 3 team format decision ha some them absolutely no favors. I dont have to explain how much of a landslide impact a single 4 man premade can have on a 4v4v4 format given the game types that have been implemented here.
