    Fishing!!

Or more precisely, fishing in secluded spots.
It's just so darned relaxing :D

Just wish they would expand on it to make it more of a skill line.
......and maybe fish up a mob now and then to keep it interesting ;)
Being First is not the prize, it just mean's everyone can stab you in the back.

I love revisiting Auridon and Summerset, enjoying their peaceful music, sun-kissed beaches, and beautiful scenery. I try to avoid enemies and just walk around, harvesting or spamming my healing skills. I lately enjoy non-combat oriented gameplay and focus on RPing and crafting :)

I absolutely love questing in ESO mainly because they have awesome writers. There are so many really interesting quests with some really unique identity to them. Some are sad, hilarious, some have lessons, etc... so much better than all other mmorpgs I played.

I’ve played since launch. Sure IBe taken a couple hiatuses, restarted from CP810 on console to a newbie on PC...but there’s one thing I love doing in this game....
    HARVESTING.
Idk why...but I love equipping my speed gear, popping some stamina food, hitting the steed stone...and running around grabbing EVERY SINGLE NODE. Not only that but Force Picking every chest I find.
Sometimes when I’m working from home, I’ll do this for 8hrs straight while talking to customers...only to realize I just gathered 100s of reagents and thousands of raw materials. Idk why...but I love this.

What about you? People that have played this for years....what’s something you still LOVE doing?

Maybe it's the beautiful, or dreadful or suspenseful and or realistic scenery. Or it's the sound effect of mining an ore, or cutting alchemist plants. Ding! ShiiShii!

ive played since day one and its to this day the most entertaining thing about eso; zos and their willingness to be soo lame.

I love making gold, learning recipies and blueprints, farming mats, furnishing homes, surveys and treasure maps, scrying and most of all socializing with my silly toons, spamming emotes at other players and interacting with them. Nothing like a random dance party. Things I don't like: pvp, vet anything, trials, rotations and anything else that causes gamers rage.

I just get distracted wandering in the world. I can't call it harvesting because I'm too disorganized.

I do love messing with housing...or in my case it's usually "yarding" since I love working with stones and plants and such
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    Something, as in one thing?

Well there are tons of things.

But I think even after about 5 years of playing, I tend to start many a gaming session off with a trip to Kvatch Arena in Gold Coast. Its just one of the most fun world bosses in the whole game and I still enjoy it to this day. Its like a "wave" based experience, a la BRP or Dragon Star arena, but without having to invest an hour of your time!

I also find its quite a reasonable and quick to access testing ground to see how a build/skill works in busy content.

Note that none of the above is the case really, if there are lots of players, cos the arena then becomes far far too easy.

I like to listen to the bards (but sometimes you have to assassinate overly demonstrative and noisy NPCs who don't know how to shut up! Like the orc who is in front of Alinor's bard.)

Questing and RPing. Currently doing a full completion with a stamsorc, planning to do another with a Templar.

It's a pity that so many people ditches the quest arguments and dialogues in favor of pure hackandslashes. They're about the best I've seen in any TES game. And many NPC's are absolutely memorable, which is more than what can be said about lots of games nowadays.

Yup, me too. Keeps me playing the game. If only I could combine a costume and motif headwear. I will make Captain Yarrface some day.

Wow, that’s incredible! My eso definitely does not look like that. Because despite having an i9 9900, rtx 2080ti, and 2tb SATA SSD, I have all settings on med/low for pvp “performance” and stability. Seeing how things can look outside of cyrodiil makes me sad.

But onto the topic of things I still love - using Repentance on my fallen enemies, siege warfare, and the unique feel that each zone has. I love how the architecture, weather, and flora & fauna come together to give each city a compeletely different atmosphere

Pick, pick, stab/blood guzzle every NPC I possibly can. It's my favorite distraction. I wish they would add more features to this game play. Let us level it up to 100 and give us more exciting and more lucrative drops, especially more furnishing stuff, the higher we level things.
