You mean those (usually golden) styles for the outfit system? With normal style books and pages, it works fine for me.

As you can put them in guild banks there's no reasoning whatsoever.

If you are looking to transfer the pages from one toon to another then fear not as outfit pages are account wide. Let one toon learn a page and then all your toons will know it. As such the outfit system operates like a bank. Or have I misunderstood and you have another reason for wanting to put them in an in-game bank?

Possibly because they have too many in inventory and hence no room for anything else. Keeping them until you can sell them for a reasonable price is impossible on a main, whivh is usually the one who ends up with the most due tp being the most played character.

you can put them for sale in a guild trader and take them out on another toon if you want... I do this so they are all in one place... kind of weird that it works this way but we really have no other options

Yep. It's especially bad because they don't stack.

If you want to transfer style pages to a different character, this is how I do it ( this will only work if you are part of a guild )

First I post it to the Guild Store for sale for 1 gold.
Then go to the listing tab and remove the listing.

The only thing may happen, is that some could buy it right after you post it.

I have transfers around 30-40 style pages using this method and have never lost one.

I wonder if each Style Page gets a unique form ID tied to the Character that finds it. If this is the case, they would not stack if you deposited each from different characters in the bank.

Usually, I just end up destroying the extra pages at the end of an event. Not worth listing, not worth storing. Which is kind of a shame, since we could share the largess with new players later on.

I agree this is annoying. I'm often playing a random alt when doing events and of course the style pages end up stuck in their inventory. If I don't want to sell them for whatever reason they're then stuck on that character. I'd really like to be able to move them to my crafter who normally holds all the stuff I'm waiting to sell so they're in with everything else when space opens up in my guild store.

Wouldn't it make more sense to price it for something a lot more than it's worth? Like say 1m gold? It's very doubtful someone would find the listing in the few seconds it would take to list then cancel, but if they somehow do at least it would be priced way too high for anyone to realistically buy (and hey if they somehow did find and buy it for that much well I'd say that's a win lol).
    Character List [RP and PvE]:
Stands-Against-Death: Argonian Magplar Healer - Crafter
Krisiel: Redguard Stamsorc DPS - Literally crazy Werewolf, no like legit insane. She nuts
Kiju Veran: Khajiit Stamblade DPS - Ex-Fighters Guild Suthay who likes to punch things, nicknamed Tinykat
Niralae Elsinal: Altmer Stamsorc DPS - Young Altmer with way too much Magicka
Sarah Lacroix: Breton Magsorc DPS - Fledgling Vampire who drinks too much water
Slondor: Nord Tankblade - TESified verson of Slenderman
Marius Vastino: Imperial <insert role here> - Sarah's apathetic sire who likes to monologue
Delthor Rellenar: Dunmer Magknight DPS - Sarah's ex who's a certified psychopath
Lirawyn Calatare: Altmer Magplar Healer - Traveling performer and bard who's 101% vanilla bean
Gondryn Beldeau: Breton Tankplar - Sarah's Mages Guild mentor and certified badass old person
Gwendolyn Jenelle: Breton Magplar Healer - Friendly healer with a coffee addiction
Soliril Larethian- Altmer Magblade DPS - Blind alchemist who uses animals to see and brews plagues in his spare time
Tevril Rallenar: Dunmer Stamcro DPS - Delthor's "special" younger brother who raises small animals as friends
Celeroth Calatare: Bosmer <insert role here> - Shapeshifting Bosmer with enough sass to fill Valenwood

I just destroy them after a while, especially if they're super common. The guild bank is still full of the prophet pages, etc and it takes forever to destroy them because of the stupid decon timer...

I just mark anything I'm going to destroy as Junk, then open the Junk screen, hit X to destroy all junk, then E to confirm. Took me about three minutes total to destroy a whole bunch of prophet pages after I decided I just didn't need them for anything any more - think it was probably around 20+ of them. That's on PC of course; I don't know if the same thing is possible on console.

Actually they did and do sell, even the Prophet pages. You don't get much, but it's still better than nothing, and someone else is probably happy to get them for 40, 50 gold or so.

    @UntilValhalla13

    Simply Mark them As Junk

Then, Empty the Junk Folder in one click. Instant destroy, and don't have to ever type DESTROY

Style pages and rune boxes are containers, and we've been unable to bank any type of container in our personal banks since the first weeks of the game when people abused the hireling mails. They used to come in a container and people put them in their bank to pick them up on their highest crafter so that they'd get high-level mats regardless of what level each character was at.

They could just change that at this point (make them bankable and stackable, since those particular containers always contain the same thing).

What I've done is used the mail bounce feature to bounce them off guildies and then put them all on one character, went to a starter zone and gave them away. Easy way to make players happy while emptying your inventory.

    This.
While it's nice to get the rare ones, getting the super common ones is one of those rewards you'd rather not get.
Taking stealth away from the Bosmer is like taking magic away from the Altmer, making Nords allergic to mead, or making Orcs pretty.

I believe them taking up so much inventory space and not being bankable is a smart intentional step they took, that people have found a way around their mechanic. I am assuming that the reason they don't want them in banks is so people will not be able to do exactly what you intend to do. They want people to use them, trade them, or sell them within a certain time frame related to the event. If you try to stockpile, it will cost you.

You can store them in a guild bank, but still do not stack. I suspect this is in case people want to donate copies to their guild for future sales / give-aways. Allowing them to stack would mean the supply becomes very large while the demand is low. Just take a look at the HollowJack, Skinchanger, and Dremora motif pages. I have about 20 copies of each of the 14 pages for each of these styles (and a few others) stashed in the bank waiting for that elusive "some day"when they become valuable. But because everybody and their buddy can save them, everyone has stockpiles and the price never goes up.

With the gold style pages, they are more of a pain to store, and the prices are still super low. I sometimes give them away to new guild members just to get rid of them. You are better off trying to sell them during the event when people are worried they will not get them all, or just after the event since people are filling in what is missing. After that, they just gather dust.
