So i finally got ingame after extended load screen from login (3 mins)
All good i thought.....but....
Seems each time i port to a new area the load screen is about 2 to 3 mins long now??

✭This happens everytime the end of maintenace coincides with prime time.

Yeah that'll take 4-5 hours at which time Europe people will be in bed. So no playing or tickets for most of us I guess, because eff European players.1 -

This is actually a good point you're making. They take the servers offline for 11 hours, surely they must be fixing certain things. Yet after these weekly maintenance rounds, nothing changes. Taking it offline for 11 hours during an event essentially means taking it offline for a full day as people can't login and eventually have to sleep. So they miss out on event bonuses even though they've been trying for several hours to get in.
A login queue is fine, but if the approximate wait time is 30 seconds, either make it around 30 seconds to maybe 2 minutes. But better leave the approximation out completely if it's going to take 5+ minutes. Just a suggestion."To a thing like me, a thing like you, well...
