Seen that every time after an extended maintenance, just all players eager to log in. Nothing to fix so don't panic it'll be ok in another 20-30 mins.

Happens to often, my friend. Can't expect people not to complain if server goes live at prime time EU.......

Last time this happened, i logged in as soon as the server went up, and that was my luck.
Most of my friends couldnt log in for several hours. After a 10hr maintenance ends, having the log-in server crumble like this, literally every time, is laughable.
Also they can add a log in queue to help this issue at any time, they have already shown us that, but they just really dont care.2 -

visionality✭✭✭✭✭update: I crashed the game, restarted and logged on character after about 5 min. Friend of mine is still sitting in login screen after 20+ minutes ... so obviously there is no queueing, just random login1

Called it. I -knew- they would put that banner up again.. Good that they're investigating, but this happens every time, obviously they still have no idea what is causing it.
What I want to know, again, is if there's anything we can do to help? Most of my guild is unable to log on, I was kicked out while relogging to a different char and am now -again- stuck on loading character..
Seems to me this is pretty straight forward. Check the logs, find the people with the longest time between logging on and actually getting into the server, checking where the wait was and/or checking the server to see what the heck it is processing for so long? If there's a queue, due to so many people logging in at once, fine, put people in a queueueue, give them a number, tell them which number they are so they know where they stand.
This is just frustrating, you know it is going to happen, it is unavoidable after any downtime, discouraging to see the exact same message again. What is the status of this investigation?When Alyennnah is not here, she's probably crafting. Quite possibly at Alyennah's Crafting in Wayrest. Or maybe she's out there, looking for new materials, recipes and styles to use in crafting. She wants to craft all the things.0 -
