Wrothgar Fishing - Saltwater holes

I was fishing in a group of 4 in Wrothgar last Sunday evening (19/07/2020) and we all had a problem with catching fish from Saltwater holes!
We were successfully fishing, using the right bait, but only occasionally recieved drops. We'd get an actual drop every fifth or sixth successful cast. Our bait was being used up and we had the character animation for catching a fish, but alas, no fish or sacks or whatever else one might find in a salty hole. Would love to go back and finish the zone, but don't like the idea of wasting my worms.
This was only a problem with Saltwater holes and only in Wrothgar. Still a problem on PS4 and so I filed a ticket 200725-002491
