And we're back. It's Stam Warden DPS Sucks Electric Boogaloo. Reading these patch notes actually made me really happy. There's some great changes here. Lokke/Rele nerf to shift the meta? Yandir buff that makes sense? AY buff? There are
so many changes here that are going to drastically shift the meta in really good ways. The vast majority of these notes, even a lot of the "nerfs", are positive for the PVE end-game. We're reshuffling a lot of the tired elements that have been stock standard meta for patch after patch. That's exciting stuff! Stam Sorcs got a freaking class spammable? Like...what?
And yet, my beloved Stamden is...still terrible. At this point, i'm reasonably convinced that's just the direction you guys want them to be in. Good in PVP, just straight trash in PVE. If that's the case, seriously, just say so. We can all move on to other classes and stop pretending or clinging to a vain hope that one day Stamden will be meta. The closest we ever really got was right before Elsweyr, and then you nerfed our damage passive, threw birds in the dumpster and the wheels fell off. We're not asking for a lot, but Warden hasn't been legitimately relevant in over a year as a Stamina DPS.
I don't normally tag people because I think that's rude, but this is my last attempt at getting some kind of answer or direction from the devs. After this one, I throw in the towel, you win, i'm a Stam Sorc main or whatever. So
@ZOS_GinaBruno is this the actual methodology behind the complete lack of Stamden changes over the last year or so? Or is there something coming in the near (and I mean near) future that we should be hoping for?
