stamplar jabs should have dots again?

hey guys as you all know the new patch greymoor is now out and i feel like there was some big changes all around the board since i have seen a post on youtube about some classes maybe getting a buff in upcoming patches i have throwen out the idea of stamplar jabs having dots again and why i say this is dots are really strong on dragon knights right now and alot of classes are dying to dots bc of mythic items mainly dragonknight and to counter dragonknights dots ive come up with the idea of stamplar having dots on they're jabs again if you like this post leave a comment on your opinions

Damage over time skills deal their damage over a few global cooldown durations. Spammables/bursts deal their damage in 1 global cooldown duration.

Jabs deal its damage in 1 secpnd too like all other spammables. So jabs are not real dots.

What makes dots strong? Do you to deal 10k damage in 1 second or in 4 seconds? You want it in 1 seconds. But what if I offer you 20k damage in 4 seconds? Then it maybe better. DoTs give more total damage per skill cast but in longer duration. Making jabs' damage type to dot wont make jabs an actual dot.

Nah it's fine as direct damage, where it matters, as in cp, its better as direct dmg at least for pvp since you can spec. Into master at arms tree for tactician, in the past it was difficult to get that passive when you had to spend so many points into thaum. Anyway you can play dot focused Templar, deadly strike buffs both dots and jabs, and dragons appetite buffs everything.

Jabs are fine, ppl run as soon as they see a PoL on them, thankfully we have the most cancerous gap closer in the game aside from Leap 😂

It seems every "suggestion" to improve templar these days actually turns out to be a request for a nerf. Weird, but maybe as expected...?
