Do Pre-Order bonuses ever come back around? -- Hold Breaker War Horse

I recently go back into ESO and am loving it like I did when I first played it. I bought Greymoor right away. The one thing is the Hold Breaker War-Horse was a pre-order item and I want it BAD. I think its one of the coolest horses in the game. Do items like this ever come back around in the crown store?

Pre-order ones eh no clue, maybe but wouldn't be for a very long time

The deluxe packages do, as you can see summerset & morrowinds pack you can still buy seperately.

Elsweyr deluxe should come into the crown store soon unless they forget it.

I've never seen it happen.

I have seen things similar to the pre-order items come around, color swaps and such. It happened very quickly with the Death Hound mount. The Cursebound Wolf is the same model with armor thrown on top. EDIT: Redacted that last statement because I did a silly. Death Hound was collector's edition, not pre-order.

I feel like after a year or something, they should just allow people to buy them with crowns. It would cost us money, they would make money, makes everyone happy in the long run except people that really care about exclusivity, which is a small handful. Especially because people take breaks from games and come back to them at a later time.

Maybe so, but now the Chapter itself is at a substantial discount in many marketplaces ... as well as being available for Crowns when it previously was not.

Essentially, you're rewarding a "pre-order" bonus to players whom never in fact pre-ordered. Why would anyone pre-order then if those bonuses were rewarded again at a later time?

Well yes. If you look in crown store there are packs for Morrowind and Summerset stuff which I'm pretty sure have all the collectors edition items and pre-order bonuses.

If they allowed it I would sell you my mount. Not that it isn't a good mount I'm just used to seeing my characters on the mounts they ride now. Change makes me queasy in game for some reason. Total chaos in the real world I am fine with.

I would expect not as it is intended for those who pre-ordered. Gamers tend to get riled up when they do something to get a reward then the devs make it available to everyone. I have seen a developer acknowledge they messed up and apologize because of such a mistake.

The Morrowind pre-order bonus was an "Exclusive" Warden Costume and a Dwarven War Dog Pet. For Summerset the Court of Bedlam Costume and the Pocket Salamander Pet.

I may be missing it but I do not see any of those in the crown store. Where do you see them?

@ZOS_GinaBruno why does Zos have chapter pre-order perks that in some cases the call exclusive yet give it away to people who wait a year and buy the DLC at a greatly reduced price? That means it is not really exclusive nor is it a pre-order bonus.

According to rumors you can even get the latest chapter for free, if you wait a year and pre-order just the next one. Unless, you know, wait yet another year. I don't really mind if people can get earlier pre-order bonuses again. What do they mean? How many do even actively use them in a noticeable way? IMO it's nothing that lessens your experience as a original pre-order player, but gives others a late chance at those small extras.

And just to clarify, I'm someone who owns all the physical CEs for this game. If I'd have to be mad at anything, it's the fact there's never been a physical Elsweyr CE. That's the real crime here! I'll eventually just have to print my own Ja'darri I guess…

So for those saying that they do come back around in the crown store, It's weird because I guess some of the pre order bonuses do while others do not. For Morrowind yes the pre order bonuses are there under the chapter tab with the package, for Summerset they are not. The Nightmare Senche Mount is missing from the Summerset package and was the pre-order bonus. Where as for Morrowind you can see the Dwarven Dog and other pre order bonuses. So the Nightmare Senche is missing although the Summerset package is available. Im not sure if this is intentional or overlooked but very interesting.

True, the mount is missing from Summerset, but it still gets the costume.

I tagged Gina asking about this. She is a busy person but if it is not intentional I expect she will respond soon.
