Why not group the dailies in Imperial City together?

Getting all 6 dailies (1 per zone) in Imperial city requires going up and down a ladder. This means at least 11 load screens to get them.

The game has enough problems with load screens. This causes more of that. Why not group them all at the bottom of the ladder? You can't reach the quest-giver location without going up that ladder as well, meaning you need to collect all 6 before you start, if you want to try and finish them all in a reasonable time. (Ignoring all the ganking that happened in the event that just finished.)

Aren't the dailies zone specific anyway so you would have to go to each zone to do them? I honestly don't remember.

They are zone specific, but once you are up in the city, you can easily move from zone to zone and do them in a rotation (or to avoid enemy players).

Getting one, completing it then going back to base through the sewers to pick up another one is both risky and time consuming.

So having the NPCs that you hand the quests to also give out the quests would be a nice QoL improvement.

Meanwhile, OP, if you are in a group, send one person to each district to grab the quest and save yourself some load screens.

Yeah I remembered that after I posted. So I'll jump on board with the idea but am going to throw a wrench in the process. If they did this they would probably make it like the rest of the game where you only can get one daily at a time.

Because the dailies are not just daily tasks. They have backstory and context.

SWTOR for example moved toward more and more convenience for their "Heroics" (dailies) to the point where you can just pick them all up from a terminal on fleet and port right to the location. Completely devoid of the context that was originally there -- who the questgiver was, why they are actually sending you there, conversations that your companions can actually chime in on, etcetera.
    A LOT was lost.

Secret World Legends also has dailies in all zones scattered where they are contextually relevant and no convenient instant port. It works better, people actually go to the zones to pick them up and do related stuff there, and no one complains about it.

At least they put the questgivers where you can't be attacked while talking to them, not like in Cyrodiil.

I suspect this was so people can't cheese that safe zone. So you couldn't, like in Cyrodiil, just go back into a town's tower where you first arrived by Transitus. It's not relevant that you can run back there in CyrodIil because the flags to capture the town aren't in that tower and the map's so open you can approach the town in many ways. But in the IC you can shoot from that platform; and you need that protection so that people can't just sit below the platform and camp your arrival point. But once you go down, they probably don't want you running to it as an easy escape all the time.
Instead, now people go through a door in the IC and stand in the safe zone while queuing Cyrodiil to get out.
Pretty lousy design just because people would exploit a ladder back up to where you arrived from the sewers. I bet they actually had planned for a way back to that safe zone but realized it would be cheesed one way or another because it is silly that you can't go back that way you came.

The backstory and content doesn’t matter anymore when you have done the quests 100 times. Put the quests on a board downstairs that you can pick from and leave the npc at the top of the stairs if you still wanna chat with them.

Yeah, you would miss the backstory, but the loading screens, which now take far too long, are a huge interruption AND load on the system.

I get them all first because you can't get more without a trip back to the base once you jump down.
