I've seen that the lead can be found in chests in Auridon. My question is this:

Is that only overland chests in Auridon or do maps/delve/public dungeon chests count as well?

It definately does drop in delves. I have 3 of these paintings myself. I do not know about Banished Cells and Treasure Maps though.

I usually farm it on the west coast. There are plenty of chests.

I got it out of a treasure chest - the one near the college. Like I really need the damn thing.... I WISH I could give these things to people who WANT them!

I got a lead my friend needed so it would be nice if we could give them away. Unfortunately I don't see that happening.
