Thoughts/Ideas/Questions on Battlegrounds - after my first few experiences

I've been playing this game a long time. I avoided Battlegrounds, and for the sake of a lead, decided to go in. I'll preface this with I read up on them, watched a couple of videos, read up on some builds, blah, blah, blah, that weren't necessarily greatly helpful, given what I experienced. My biggest takeaway was, that if you are new to Battlegrounds, there is little to no incentive to do them again, and I wish I had done them before they became solo play. At the very least, there could be some guidance in game from people I have grouped with. It's also very uncomfortable being tossed in with complete strangers that may not be new, or have pvp'd as their main game play - so there you are, trying to figure it out, and certainly not feeling much like "git gud" really applies - if you don't want to *** a lot of strangers off.

So, I have some questions/thoughts.

First, there seems to be a way to invite a player - does that mean if you do, you group up as two? If not, what does it mean?

Second, why can't you choose an individual game? Why are they lumped together so it's a 50/50 toss up what you end up in?

Third - I feel there should be choices re solo or group (yes, I am aware, given the reading I've done, of the "horror" of the pre-made groups) - so I'm wondering, if the way to fix the issue of battlegrounds both/either way, is based on number of times played a battleground/wins etc type data on a toon, so the match ups are more equitable, in every sense. It could be within a range. E.G. 1 - 10 battlegrounds - grouped together. 10 - 30, and so on?

Fourth - could you please set up some kind of quest/training in game experience with each type, kind of like with Volendrung, so you have an in game sense of playing each one, before other solo players are saddled with an "I didn't come in here completely ignorant, but wtf?"

Fifth - If you can't fix the experience - and from what I've read a lot of players are VERY unhappy with this part of the game, can you not put a lead in there? LOL ;)

I didn't post this to get trashed. I sincerely did research before going in there, and built for it, but it was just this total crap experience. The end.

I did post this just to propose some ideas, and get answers to questions. Thanks all!

You can queue for individual match styles. Just don't do the random.

If your in pc NA I would gladly give you tips and stuff for BG’s
You can que for specific game mode.
The biggest problem is the players aren’t there to have solo que and group que sadly BG’s are just kind of boring either play the same 12 people every day or it’s all mag sorcs and boring. A lot of people won’t like but BG’s were a a lot more enjoyable with groups aloud. It had more verity and better fights most days it wasn’t often for me to just get steam rolled maybe 1 out of 7 games would be like that
    DC PC NA
    Magdk - main
    Stamcro - alt

AD PS4 NA -retired (PC runs way better to play on console)
    magdk
    magblade
    stamplar
    magden
    magsorc

I really like your idea of getting a training set up for the different kinds of matches. Even if it just while you're waiting for the countdown to begin, to have a
Little pop up saying what the goal of that match is. Capture flag return it to your colored base, kills score points first to 500 wins. That sort of pop up. Even if it's put above your character where the achievements show up, would be of some help.

~There’s a positive in every negative. Sometimes the positive is harder to find than other times, but there is ALWAYS one there~

Actually, when I click on solo queue specific games, there are three options. If I chose Capture the Flag games, you end up in either Chaos Ball or Capture the Relic. Same for the other two options. I definitely did not want to be in Chaos Ball, and yet, there I was.
    Am I missing something?

Yah, they have the game types lumped into groups. It helps with queue times and ensures people can who only want 1 BG mode can get it at least some of the time

Under 50 battlegrounds can e a good way to learn them, though everybody lacks damage and the MMR is a bit messed up so you'll get some high skill, geared out players in there

Best way to learn BG is to pick 1 defensive and 1 offensive set, wear impenetrable armor, have a heal and a stun slotted, have enough stamina, and slot some form of burst damage. Dueling is way lower pressure if you can find a guildmate or friend to duel with you. It's all just about fighting, not winning!
