I've been playing this game a long time. I avoided Battlegrounds, and for the sake of a lead, decided to go in. I'll preface this with I read up on them, watched a couple of videos, read up on some builds, blah, blah, blah, that weren't necessarily greatly helpful, given what I experienced. My biggest takeaway was, that if you are new to Battlegrounds, there is little to no incentive to do them again, and I wish I had done them before they became solo play. At the very least, there could be some guidance in game from people I have grouped with. It's also very uncomfortable being tossed in with complete strangers that may not be new, or have pvp'd as their main game play - so there you are, trying to figure it out, and certainly not feeling much like "git gud" really applies - if you don't want to *** a lot of strangers off.
So, I have some questions/thoughts.
First, there seems to be a way to invite a player - does that mean if you do, you group up as two? If not, what does it mean?
Second, why can't you choose an individual game? Why are they lumped together so it's a 50/50 toss up what you end up in?
Third - I feel there should be choices re solo or group (yes, I am aware, given the reading I've done, of the "horror" of the pre-made groups) - so I'm wondering, if the way to fix the issue of battlegrounds both/either way, is based on number of times played a battleground/wins etc type data on a toon, so the match ups are more equitable, in every sense. It could be within a range. E.G. 1 - 10 battlegrounds - grouped together. 10 - 30, and so on?
Fourth - could you please set up some kind of quest/training in game experience with each type, kind of like with Volendrung, so you have an in game sense of playing each one, before other solo players are saddled with an "I didn't come in here completely ignorant, but wtf?"
Fifth - If you can't fix the experience - and from what I've read a lot of players are VERY unhappy with this part of the game, can you not put a lead in there? LOL

I didn't post this to get trashed. I sincerely did research before going in there, and built for it, but it was just this total crap experience. The end.
I did post this just to propose some ideas, and get answers to questions. Thanks all!
