Murkmire... There is no other zone like this. Immersion is through the roof there.

Murkmire imho did something similar to what TES III Morrowind did, back in the day when it launched. TES III presented to us... an alien looking world with huge mushrooms, that we have never seen before in an other cRPG game. Murkmire did something very similar, but instead of volcanos & ashlands, we got very well designed swamplands with unique landscape biome & atmosphere. And the Lore ? It was top notch. Same as quests (both main & side). Writers & lore masters did excellent job there. It was quality over quantity.

Anything but Bangkorai where they ruined the zone story by putting a stupid, tedious badly written tower defence mini-game in the story path.

Vvardfenfell I think for visuals and atmosphere. Stonefalls as a specifc zone for story.

more stupidity is that major characters give you just "hey I know you" but with statists like Skordo Knife or Gathwen you can have little chats that renew after every quest with him and ask how they are doing

Yeah, minor characters oddly seem to get more dialogue about this. They did Lyris really, really badly in Greymoor imo. We only got one line of dialogue and I think that was only in the prologue. (And I sacrificed her at the end of the original main quest, so you think she’d have more to say).

Hew's Bane / Wrothgar / Craglorn

Wrothgar definitely, then I'll go gold coast, hew's bane, imperial city, cwc and summerset. Vvardenfell in nice and all but it's mostly because morrowind nostalgia used hard in a plot line I'm afraid.

Least favourite main story would be probably greymoor, don't think i was ever so disappointed about any zone quest lol.

Weird poll. Didn’t vote. I love Rivenspire but hate Alik’r and Bangorai, so that option was out. The original main quest will always be a favorite. The last chapter I really enjoyed was Summerset.

Rivenspire / Alik'r Desert / Bangkorai

Rivenspire was my favorite as far as the base game stories go. For the DLCs/Chapters, I think Wrothgar still stands as my personal favorite. I feel like it has the best story overall even if I don't like the stealth portions of some quests.

Wrothgar, Murkmire and Hew's Bane are my favourites. So guess I pick the choice which has 2 out of 3!

I'm also fond of the Gold Coast, but not so much because of the questing. Since it's mainly DB based.
