How does this work when an account can have toons of different alliances? Does it go by whatever toon the GM happens to log into first on the alt account? Or is it somehow transferring ownership within the same account?
If our guilds have to be restricted to a single alliance designation still, even though many guilds accept players of all alliances, then I’m happy with mine, but I’m curious to know how it’s determined.

They meant a second ESO account.
EDIT: Does that work though? I've never been a GM.
I know it's possible to send a ticket asking for a name change, you can probably ask to have the alliance changed as well.
