Question about MYM event daily reset

The news announcement says "The Event Ticket timer resets at 1:00AM EDT each morning."
Shouldn't that be 2:00AM EDT?
Every ticket-awarding event since the very first one has had the Event Ticket timer reset at the same time as the daily job quests such as the daily crafting writs, which is at 1:00AM EST or 2:00AM EDT.
So I'm assuming this was a typo in the announcement, but some clarification would be great.
