dungeons with no mobs and bosses - a jail basically and you inside - well, you can have that for the rest of your time in eso.

    Yes!

So I would get a pve cyrodiil AND get to explore/poke around some dungeons at my leisure? Sounds like a win-win to me!

(Seriously, I really would like both of these things.)

I will easily trade a separate no-PVP cyro zone/instance for versions of every dungeon with no mobs or bosses.

Think of all the chest farming we could do in peace, all the lore books wouldn't have to rush through. Sure, pledges and skill point quests wouldn't work in there, but hey - any EXTRA options other ppl choose to embrace doesn't hurt me if I want to run regular cyro and dungeons.

Fair trade good sir, fair trade. I will expect to see your glowing endorsement letter to ZoS for this idea asap. thx!

No you can still do the quest for the skill points, and collect lorebooks.

Hm.. what about pvp in dungeons? 1vs4 where the 1 get some nasty skills with CD ^^

Not gonna lie, that would have made chest farming for a burning spellweave inferno staff a lot easier....

But it would be cool to implement some sort of puzzle mechanics into dungeons.

Or, or... like a set of master locks that have to be picked with a specific "relic" lockpick to access the final boss. The lockpick would be placed into a random group member's inventory after killing a stage boss, and if you don't unlock the locks within a certain timeframe you fail the dungeon. I mean, think of the camaraderie that it would lead to when you're PUGing and the lockpick goes to the level 35 DPS leeroyjenkins. Everyone would be providing heartwarming verbal support to encourage the person to get the locks picked and it would be only mildly inconvenient to have to start the dungeon over again amiright?

I hate jumping puzzles, but I know some people love them, and I'm a masochist, so it would be cool if they had a dungeon that was just a jumping puzzle. No mobs, no bosses, just some a puzzle with a reward at the end.

A four person puzzle, where you have to have 3 other players in order to solve it. Like pressure plates or buttons, at the end is a treasure.

A dungeon where you have to heal an npc(s) through the gauntlet, would require mobs, but they can't be targeted by the player. Of course the npcs would need to actually do damage instead of their usual wet-noodle attacks.

A dungeon with a repeating cell, but each doorway leads to a slightly different cell and the goal is to figure out the pattern to get to the center of the maze. It would require randomization so that people can't just got left right left right right left (or whatever) each entry.

In moongrave fane there is some "platforming" i kinda like that to be honest, but a dungeon that is just a puzzle? Eh, not really.

Sigh, another [snippity snip snippy] post, but actually a kinda good suggestion. I was honestly hoping antiquities would be solo puzzle dungeons, with interactions like tomb raider/uncharted to climb walls, swing on vines, etc. to find the lost treasures.

I've also suggested in the past that dungeons be repurposed into BG maps. Plenty of dungeons would make for some cool pvp rounds. Maybe even some new BG modes, such as treasure hunters (race to find all the treasure chests, and steal from enemy camps), PvP AND PvE in one awesome BG (3 teams vs each-other AND random hordes).

Fungal Grotto 1 in the area before the final boss, you know the spot where everyone normally jumps the waterfall and skips the ads, that room would be interesting to have king of the hill in. Big open cavern and nice layout, maybe add some teleports to get around

Ooh, king of the hill would be a fun alternative. One large objective space, and you get points for remaining inside. When you die, everyone spawns on the far side of the cavern. Each of the small islands with bridges would make interesting domination/crazy king holds too. Chaos ball would be insane if someone jumped in the water :D

Not to get too off topic, but I would even love to see some "urban" warfare, like in some of the major cities.

Isn't that the point of Imperial City though?

Not trying to be a smartburro since I don't participate in PvP, but I thought Imperial City was an urban-warfare-ish zone.

Not sure what you want to do in empty dungeons but I think it's a fair tradeoff!!! :p

Simply speed run (with some 3-4 stops at lockboxes) to get normal/vet boss drop from unguarded Reward Chest

Yes.. but no. I mean new maps for BG that are urban, like fighting in a ruined Alinor, or solitude.

You know the point of getting a PvE Cyrodiil is that your PvP Cyrodiil still exists. It'll just create a place for PvErs to go to so you won't have any more easy targets to gank anymore.

I dont think the districts in IC are done very well. Dont make it a circle. Make it one large city, let there be a Main central zone in the city that is worth the most points, and throughout the city let there be little zones/spawns/bonus' you can capture to help keep/take control of the middle zone.

    Something like that.

Right now you just run around and around back capping the flags, all while enjoying having to be out of combat to switch districts.

I know we’re just talking theory about something not ever likely to happen, but if it did happen, how would one finish a dungeon skill point quest with no mobs or bosses?

All pledges and skill point quests in dungeons require some killing of bosses or final boss to complete.

Typically the quests revolve around banishing some great threat, the mobs and bosses. Without them there wouldn't even be a story to tell and definitely wouldn't be a quest.

best in slot: is the armor, weapon, clothing look, pet, or no pet, jewelry, race, class, skill choices, amount of DPS, and skin color best fit to you and the way you wish to play and makes you feel good and performs what YOU think it should be.
