Does the Packrat increase Bag Space?

Asking for a friend, can anyone who has this confirm?

It is in the same section as the war pig that gives you 5 extra slots:

However when you compare the tooltips the Packrat doesn't have the line about account wide inventory increase, even though the description almost seems to imply it:

It works exactly like the boar.

All your characters receive +5 maximum bag slots and +5 training in carrying capacity upon purchase. No need to actually use the pet at all.

Thanks all, we've gotten a bug in for the tooltip so it will be displayed in the future once fixed. It does add extra inventory slots though, and is listed under the Inventory category to reflect that.

Actually, this does lead to the next logical question which is does this stack with the War Boar?

Or are they both things that do the same thing and so having both only gives you five slots?

Or does having both give you 10 slots total?

It stacks, you get 10 slots for having the bristleback and the skeever

It's only ten slots total if you have both pets, what is P2W about that? Come on. I rarely ever filled my mains bags with 200 slots.

Well, of course it is. I'd call it customer exploitation to be more general about it, but it's a &*$Z& move for a game developer to be selling cash shop exclusive inventory expansions like this.

They did the right thing when they offered inventory expansions with the housing storage chests. These were available in the cash shop, true, but they could also be earned by playing the actual game?

    This?

    This is just %^*$*^.

Remember: Elder Scrolls Online appeals to a diverse customer base that view and play the game in different ways.
Regardless of how you play, be aware Elder Scrolls Online is play-to-pay game.

Yeah those 5 or 10 extra inventory slots mean I can now go clear vMA and vCR+3

It is pay for convenience, not pay to win.

Pay for convenience the same as the banker, or the merchant, or the skill lines, or the skyshards, or the storage coffers ...

People really need to learn what pay to win means and stop throwing it about willynilly.

The principle of pay 2 win applies though. Those 10 slots, the banker, the merchant save you game time by extending the time you can 'play' before you have to sell/bank/stop what you are doing.

The merchant, banker and pack companions are not (directly) available with in-game currency but only with crowns ergo this is pay to win. Does it help you clear? No it doesn't. Same goes for skyashards and storage (vouchers).
