Don't let the people doing damage control inflating the score with 10s and lying drown out reality.

That does look a little suspiscious... I only looked at the front page but it seemed like every review was a 10 and the reviewers only had one review to their name.

I appologize in advance that while i think greymoor has some weaknesses (such as average writing and story and more of the same but nothing new) and zos needs to focus more on innovation than improvement with the next chapter i really liked the chapter thought the zone and the split between top and blackreach was visually stunning and would give it an 8

You know extreme scores on metacritics usually go both ways...

I just finished Greymoor a little while ago, and you know what I realized???? I actually got suckered into buying yet another re-release of Skyrim! Good one Bethesda/Zenimax; you got me again. /facepalm

I originally gave Greymoor a 4 out of ten, but after finishing the entire expansion, I suppose I give it a 5. Summerset was a 10 for me, Morrowind an 8, and Elsweyr a 9, just for context.

I haven't put much faith in gaming website and review sites like metacritic in years.
I don't need someone else telling me if I'll like a game or not.

Funny though that the metacritic gives it a 5.0 and our forum poll a 5.2
    So not so far off.

Aside from some random unloaded textures and one instance of one NPC's dialogue coming out of another NPC's mouth, I've had zero issues with Greymoor so far.

I thought the unloaded textures were a me problem even though my pc can easily manage the game lol

How is the DLC/expansion though? I kind of want to get it but am concerned it will be more "too easy" content? Not to beat a dead horse, which I guess is exactly what I am doing (sorry).

I'd love to support ESO but I am worried it will be more facerolling of mob groups with a couple button presses like the rest of my ESO experience has (mostly) been.

Difficultly is the same, moreso on the easy side if anything. If you faceroll stuff rn, you will absolutely continue to do so in Western Skyrim.

In fact with the new vampire Blood Mist, you can build for reduce spell cost, put on some Magicka return sets (Spell Parasite, Hollowfang, False God, etc) and go afk while the game plays itself.... not joking.

As for other stuff.... Antiquities is a massive grind. Rewards consist of six mythic gear items, furnishings, and some motifs. Main questline is pretty bad. The random zone quests are alright. Other DLCs/Chapters did a much better job. Kyne’s Aegis has trash sets all around too so you aren’t missing anything there.

Greymoor is simply the worst chapter so far and truly lacks polish. It feels unfinished with the amount of bugs present.

If you’re considering skipping a chapter then this is the best one to avoid.

Hi Voah. Thanks for the great summary! OK, I think I will look around for another chapter to buy. Thanks again.

Well, despite a few bugs, I rather like it. Nice scenery to look at, plenty of room to run round in and I've not been bored yet. Antiquities is a load of shite, but I'm not wasting my time with that, so it's not a problem. I found Summerset too brightly colourful and boring, Vvardenfell too dreary and boring but Elsweyr was fine. Mind, I would never take notice of anyone else's opinion of a chapter, I'd try it and make my own mind up.

Looks like they are killing it. Sadly the leadership doesn't know when they are making a subpar product, or don't care and respect us. Maybe both?

So sad to see the hard work from all the people working on the game only for it to be ruined by leadership.

Serious question here. Not sure if you played Witcher 3 and have done the Baron quest. If so, are you saying that Greymoor is like the Baron quest in Witcher 3? For me, the Baron quest is like one of the best ever quests made and would give it a 8-10 score.

I am only asking for quests in Greymoor. Would really love to see how you gave it a score of 8. Almost bought the game and held off. Even if you don't want to publicly post why, PM me. I might get it depending on how you got to your 8.
Not my quote but I love this saying

"I would pay It for support. But since they choosed we are just numbers and not customers, i dont mind if game and zos goes to oblivion"
