Why is there this food/drink that we had before this update, ZoS has even made a change to the name so is well aware of the food/drink and what it does, anyway why is there a food/drink that makes you a stage 4 vampire (which btw I dont know if the developers understand that they have made this stage a 0 health recovery stage of vamperism) But the food/drink also give health recovery?!?!?!?! So this GOLD food/drink is now null of one of the benefits, because the main passive buff is to become a stage 4 vampire with said expensive GOLD food/drink.

Is there a way to change this food/drink to a usable provisioning GOLD item that has MAGIC recovery instead of a redundant health recovery?

True, and the main piece to using it would be to get to stage 4 vamp tho, so why have that when it is redundant? when they could do it correctly and change it to magic and it would still benefit the non vamps as well?

All my magicka toons use this now (I cured my 3 vamps) and it is great
The increase to stage 4 vamp is a secondary effect of this drink, not the primary.

The point is it just doesnt add up, the food is expensive to make resource wise, it is a GOLD food, and it turns you to a stage 4 vamp with 0 health recovery and that same food that turns you to a stage 4 vamp with 0 health recovery then says that it gives you health recovery, when in fact it that is null and voided due to it making you a stage 4 vamp in the first place.

Oh, chill out. It's only a drink. You don't have to use it only on vamps. Although I find it handy if you drop down to stage 3 and can't find a victim to eat. I certainly don't worry about the health regen.....

God, no. That would be incredibly overpowered.
This drink is a bistat drink with added health recovery. If you're running something like Bright-Throat's Boast, it's BiS if you don't need max stamina or magicka regen from your food.

This drink is a bistat drink with added health recovery. If you're running something like Bright-Throat's Boast, it's BiS if you don't need max stamina or magicka regen from your food.

Honestly, I could see something better made with it being another source of natural ability cost reduction (Class/Weapon lines) with putting you at the Stage 2 or 3's Vampire Ability cost to compensate. Obviously I'm throwing numbers around here without thinking about the balance, but it's an example/food for thought!

It's not even that great to begin with. The health recovery doesn't make it good even if on a vamp you had normal health recovery. The blue bi-stat food has higher stats that are more important. Plus, it really isn't that expensive to make compared to other gold and purple food alternatives.

You get more with blue food. Health recovery is useless.
This drink is garbage as is. They need to add mag recovery there instead of health recovery.

This drink is completely bizarre after the vampire changes.

For basically any class and any build in PvP, Sugar Skulls are the overwhelming BiS food to run: the sheer number of raw stats that the food provides absolutely blows away the Maras and Orzorga's Bear Haunch (another highly dubious gold food that is in desperate need of a buff or redesign).

One might argue in favor of Bright-Throat's and Mara but using Amber Plasm and Sugar Skulls has it beat in every way.

Only in settings where your off-stat is completely a dump-stat (e.g. PvE) is this food a candidate for BiS food.

Bone Broth is subpar but at least it gives a small added bonus to its intended users, werewolves. Mara should drop the health regeneration and instead give a Bone Broth-size cost reduction to vampire abilities.
