What would your response be if ZOS introduced Maelstrom Armor

So, next update ZOS announces new Maelstrom Armor that you can earn from arena we’re only one RNG piece drops in chest. Let’s say the armor has some pretty valuable set bonuses. What would your thoughts be? Would you grind for it?

Sounds like Elemental Succession, buffed into relevance a few months ago. Great change, hoping for a Winterborn update next.

I would not even grind for it if it was better than lokke! Why, just why would I want more reasons to go into that place. Its not hard its just laggy, buggy, and takes too much time.

Considering input/output lag I think it would be a bad idea.
I've avoided the weapons and most vet DLC dungeons for that reason and that was before it got worse.

Solo arenas are obviously against the grain for MMOs, but i think generally, most people like the concept of maelstrom. Its a place to go and get a title that many revere as excellent. I think it would be cool if they implemented a new arena like this with every mid-year dlc. It would give people more to grind for and help create a more diverse meta.

I would be quite miffed if they added more "new" gear to existing content rather than adding new content.

I'm trying to fathom how crazy adding more unique items to the vMA loot table would be ... considering how difficult drops are currently.

No Vma sucks, most people dont like it. If I want to play solo i'd play witcher or smthg

I do not get this question. There is armor allready that only drops in maelstrom arena...?

Still wouldn't set foot in there. I hate MA with a passion - I have much more fun games for solo play than grinding that awful place. Too long, too boring for me. I play MMO's for the group play with my buddies.

They don't have to do that. All they had to do was add the unique reachman armor style as a additonal drop to vma rewards and there would have been 10X less salt because there was at least something new to earn rather then having to re-earn something we already fought for

Sure with NEW arena, vma "part two" would be lovely addition.

Is the armor called Maelstrom Armor? Nope. Hence the question that says if they added new armor that’s different.

If you make a beef stew with spoiled meat, it doesn’t matter how much seasoning you add, the stew will still be spoiled. Unless they fix the lag in the arenas i wouldn’t care less if they added new stuff because the performance issues you have to face are not worth the time.

Even better. Make it an antiquity and the lead only drops in vMA randomly with no guarantee for a drop.

My response would be how does a new armor set address performance issues? New armor makes no difference in today's performance, regardless of the traits.

They still haven't finished up the weapon skill line.

They also DID introduce VMA style armor <1 set bonus basically>. Its called mythics.
