Do you feel that there should be more (practical or otherwise) reasons to visit your house?

No, housing is fine as it is.
You have to limit what can be done in housing or you end up with the same scenario you got in wow, namely that everyone just disappeared inside their houses and did everything there, leaving the city is affectively deserted. I know I for one would disappear into my own house if I thought I could do all my daily crafting writs there without hearing the horrible gargling screams of murdered civilians of every single dam day... God Almighty I wish that that civilian slaughter was an instance to experience!

Idea from housing subforum: have the option to show your characters in your house, that you see them where you left them when you logged off with them. Also a nice way to show your friends your characters and their roles/what they do.

Note that I didn't scroll up to read the full 3 pages of comments so this may likely have been said many times.

I like that the more houses I acquire, the more free ports I get across Tamriel. If I go to a house near a wayshrine, I can then use that wayshrine to go to any other wayshrine I have for free as well. It also helps when I make alts. For instance, I have the house near the wayshrine in Alinor, so I can get a brand new character to the crafting/ trading hub city in Summerset pretty much instantly after character creation.

I think you mean Legends - Blades is still being developed. I wished it was the other way around, Legends is much more fun.

I will say yes because I was planning to buy a house for a friend who plays this game but has held back so far because it would be of no use for him. He is not a crafter nor is he a member of any guilds.

I'm going to throw this out there not so much as a fully formed idea, but more as a possible starting point for one.

In games like Conan Exiles and Ark, you log out in your home. Mostly because if you don't then the next time you log in you'll wake up dead, robbed, stuck on a mountain top, inventory filled with poo, or some combination thereof. Anyway, the point is that your home becomes your start and end point for each session because of it. That's in addition to it being your base of operations for crafting, storage, building your army of slaves, etc. So perhaps some incentive could be added for using your home as your logout point.

Some great suggestions in this thread.

I’d say to also let us PLACE OUR CHARACTERS as if they are furnishings in our home. That way we can see all of our characters at once, and the home can feel more lively.

Yes! We've been asking for this for years! Additionaly, allow them to perform some looped emotes ;)

Practical part of this idea? Equipment sharing through different characters. You would be able to share your gear between toons without login on and off all the time.
"We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available."
    — They always claim they’re “investigating” the causes, but in reality they’re just waiting until the PC EU players go to bed. Once that happens, you can suddenly log in again and they happily mark the issue as Fixed.

Really - having them sitting or standing where you left them when you logged off would already be SO GREAT!!

I wish there was an option to invite players to your home. A function similar to when you form a group and it asks you if you want to fast travel to their location.

Like if you're farming a dungeon, and everyone needs a convenient place to decon, sell, and/or bank between rounds.

Make it your primary home and every friend can visit it even when you are not online. simply right click the person in the friends list and choose "visit primary residence".

Let me buy/craft manequins where I can display/swap my sets and they don't clutter up my inventory...

    ZoS can easily implement this...

    They choose not to.

8/9 of my characters are in front of a inventory storage box...
80% of my gameplay time is used in load screens and inventory management.

Now I just sit one character in rawl'kha at the banker... when all that junk comes into my mail, inventory, from all sources as zos keeps shoving more stuff down my throat...

(I mean I EVEN FOUND OUT THEY STOPPED DELETING MAIL THAT WAS 30 DAYS OLD OR MORE!!! GOOD JOB ZOS GOOD JOB!!!)

They broke their inventory system to sell us alleged QoL inventory solutions...

guess what, my solution is log in for 10 minutes, see if I got any space, sell as much as i can, if I have no space log out...

Nowaydays, I just log in and afk for a bit and just forget it. I open up a completed whole offline game that was made in 2004.

When online connectivity was used to fix bugs that was not found after the printed copy went live...now they shove us the broken mess and claim "Look, we don't know what you guys want. It's best not best to make our game some way and have nobody interested in it. I'd rather have a broken game come out and change it into your image. However not too fast, otherwise you will leave us. We like to play the give him just enough to live, but not enough to walk on his own mentality. That way you keep coming back with a little hope of change."

have you considered to spend a few coins and remove your hirelings - then you won't get these mails anymore.

I have never used hirelings. I play pvp, go to dungeons and such. I am not hoarding. I want all my items to be either sold or deconstructed. The problem is that I ned space to deconstruct items. Now you probably will say "get eso+" Even if I had that, I would still run into that problem.

The game is broken. I seriously can't feel into it when I play it. So I am coming back in 6 months.

On the PTS there was a bundle that had a fountain that decreases your stage and a thrall target dummy you could feed off of. Think they'll get added when the vampire house does.
Cool! Wish the fully furnished vampire house has both, but I somehow doubt it.

Thanks for the tip! But I'm well aware, I'm nosy, and have already visited other friends homes that way lol

But I would like an interaction (similar to duel, trade, whisper, etc.) to invite them to the home. Then they instantly get a notification to accept/deny and if they accept you both *poof*

... well, not so much of a poof as it is a blank stare while drawing obscure shapes in the air... its just another personal social interaction I would like added is all

Since I craft for people, and I think its easier to just meet at my home where my crafting stations are, and I have a banker if they need to withdraw mats (and who doesn't want to show off their home?) it would also be cool to invite via chat. Otherwise we have to form a group, then go to the group page... yada yada. Nothing major of course, just a small thing. There are bigger fish to fry though.

COD is just so impersonal... I like to emote *fancy bow* after trading the goods, and when they don't know what they want, its nice to just sit in my home and discuss ( I literally have a sales-y type office for this reason, let me nerd please :P I have since added things to the shelves).
