So, I’m just curious if Devs have addressed the “whoopsie” where a lot of people have access to expansion even though they didn’t purchase? Last I heard they just said they were looking into it.

✭✭✭✭✭Free access has been removed. You might see a white unlocked wayshrine, but you won't be able to port there anymore.
As for anything else, such as "consequences," there's been no comment. Given that ZOS took no action when a similar problem occured with Elsweyr at the Scalebreaker Update launch, I wouldn't hokd your breath.1
