I really don’t care for “Ancestral Motifs”.

I, and many others, have specifically pointed out over the years that the base game armors needed an update and instead of making a reasonable choice to just update the existing motifs, ZOS makes the updated armors separate motifs for players to pursue.

So now old NPCs are still stuck wearing the poorer quality motifs and players have to farm them all over again if they want the updated models.

They made the older models completely redundant. It’s like having two copies of the same thing but ones clearly higher quality.
