Should the Blood Scion be using weapons?

Greymoor has already launched and I’ll admit this is a bit of a nitpick but I thought what made the Necromancer Bone Lord ultimate unique was that you could still use your weapons.

When I see the Blood Scion using weapons it feels like it takes away from the Necromancer.

The Werewolf doesn’t get access to weapon skill lines while transformed (not saying it should)

idk it just feels a bit lackluster to me that the Blood Scion doesn’t have its own animations like the Vampire Lord in Skyrim. (Floating and blasting Vampire Lord specific abilities)

Personally i like the Blood Scion using weapons.
It shouldn't be a unique thing for the necro transform. Obv werewolves dont use weapons as its like a transformation into a savage beast. With vampire you're still the same person, you keep almost everything of yourself when you go from human >vampire and i would expect the same with vamp>scion, you keep your class skills and weapon skills while the savage ones do not, just like necro and that fine. There could be many transformations possible in the game, some that could possibly use weapons and some that might not.

it shouldn't be unique to the necro imo

In my opinion, two Blood Scion morphs must be merged, and another morph must look similar to Bloodknight NPC or Vampire Lord NPC with claw attacks and don't use weapon and weapon skills while transformed. And both Blood Scion and Bloodknigh NPC must be scaled down at least at 10%, now they looks too huge.
And of course new Bloodknight morph must be WITHOUT this stupid glow and horns.

I agree it is strange to transform into a bulking vampire monster and wack people over the head with my staff or a dagger when we clearly have dagger like claws on our hands and aren't using them. It looks silly and is basically a copy and paste of the necromancer ultimate. They at LEAST could have given it a unique animation or something.

The reason why I am for not having the weapons:

    1) If my character is powerful enough to change into something else they have far more magic than steel. The character should be blasting them with magical attacks rather than using a sword.

    2) The character conjured a new set of clothes while changing. Why keep a sword, dagger, or staff?

    3) It looks silly to see a Vampire Lord using a restoration staff.
