Hard to find groups for new trial Kynes Aegis

I don't feel a lot of enthusiasm for the new trial...not sure if the lack of players is simply due to people being busy with other things or not that many having the chapter yet...but its quite hard to motivate people to do the trial...especially more than once...can also be due to lackluster sets and harder farming conditions (fewer bosses more harder trash inbetween).... shame

What did you want? Gear is garbage (wait until next path they'll force HA/LA changes down our throats, maybe it'll make Roaring Opportunist viable), trial itself is a triumph of copy and paste approach. There was precious little work put into the chapter, and I think they outsourced scrying & excavation tidbit to Luxoft, they're good at making cheap mobile games.

As far as pugs are concerned Cloudrest and Sunspire each have three bis sets, why would you run KA? The new trial is doa.

New trial is kinda trash tbh.

Lackluster sets and even crappy rewards for achievements.

Idk why the 'big' reward for the trial is ANOTHER sea-themed skin. Why not a vampire personality? Or something vampiric themed since...you know, the whole trial is about taking down a vampire lord who is invading with a monstrous army.

Also love how despite it being vampire themed NONE of the sets are based off of lord falgravn...the vampire lord. Not even a vampire lord title... Like what? Am I missing something here?

Ran it for the first time last night and enjoyed it. Sets may not be the greatest and I feel like they intentionally didn't include many chests (group only found 1 and then a bunch of heavy sacks). But I feel like it's not very pug friendly due to some mechanics, particularly on the last boss. Requires a bit of cohesion which isn't conducive to a pug group usually.

I ran it twice yesterday with 2 totally different groups. Just find a guild that's chasing achievements?

New to game and finding groups is my biggest problem. I can’t even find a group to run my undaunteds. I’ve been sitting on the same undaunted quest for the past 3 days trying to find a group to help me with it but unfortunately no luck.

There's literally no reason to run it aside from an initial clear.

As for Undaunted pledges, don't try to get a group for old pledges. Abandon the quest and try you luck with the current one, your chances are much higher.

The actual trial is mediocre, the gear drops are trash, and the cosmetic rewards are so off the mark of what should be Vampire themed content that the trial is pretty much DOA except for a few initial clears and those few bleeding edge groups who feel the need to knock out the HM achievements, etc for completion sake.

Pretty sure most of the players are stuck in limbo because nothing works including anyone who bought greymoor...

I for one don't know how everyone has so much time lol. I mean the patch dropped on a Tuesday and there hasn't even been a weekend yet. Try on Saturday at least before you assume there is no interest. 😆

I feel like they included fewer bosses and chests and more mobs to make it even grindier...

I dont like the direction they are taking these mechanics - same with antiquities - they want to make everything grindier either so it "lasts" longer or to sell you quality of life things that makes progress faster.... I dont think this is a good direction for the development....

And in this case all the work on the trial is nearly wasted because hardly anyone is doing it...its a shame

Idea of these new sets is to be some sort of a nice "buff" in a well optimized grp.

• There's your first problem -> well organized grps are not your average craglorn pugs.
• Second one -> These sets are still too weak. No real need for them. Why even farm it.
• Third one -> Most ppl are into the vdsa/vma grind again... even if it was a d***-move to not upgrade them, ppl who got them, want their BIS for their effort "back". Therefore, many players are in vdsa or vma and not looking for trial grps.
