OP does not like the vamp changes -> many vamps tend go Dark elf due to the fire resist ->If you don't go vamp, you better change to a different race. And this is all the big conspiracy to sell race change tokens.

Tbh, looks exactly vice versa.
Vampires will be top magicka dps, and sustain won't be a big issue when your spammable costs health. So dunmer will be in pretty good place3 -

And a bit of fire resistance and immunity to burning will be useful (though I doubt it will be much difference with altmer).0 -

I tried, but it only depresses me. Dunmer was viable, but not BiS race for anything, so why there should be mass race changes from dunmer or to dunmer, it is inconceivable.
As far as I know dunmers are master race with "deal with it" attitude, so I don't think they plan to race change...0 -

Race does not matter in the overwhelming majority of content, @MartiniDaniels ... I think you’ve played the game long enough to know that.
In other words, are you chasing Trials or PvP Leaderboards where race might matter??

Ha-ha, we are just joking with Lunghlongarm. Of course race doesn't matter much, at least within pool of roles available to that race, and dunmers are good for absolutely any role (not best, but good). That's why we are trying to understand original post, because it is unclear how all this changes impact dunmers at all.0 -

Actually. Nord would be a better choice for the resistances that are not exclusive to fire but everything, ultimate regen., and extra health doesn't hurt anyone. Same with Stamina. Plus, the only race that can shrug the chill status effect.0 -

Dunmer has immunity to burning status effect. It means magDK have bad sustain against you and somewhat less damage. And you have one less effect to purge.0
