Can you link the section of the ToS that it violates? I've seen a lot of posts including links to other websites etc, I also don't understand why they would even allow a "link" if it violated their ToS. But if 4 real, problem is there, but never gonna be fixed. And reason is simple, gaming industry is uncontrolled.
In gaming industry need to exist licenses, that can bee taken away if u fail to provide good service, if u ignore your costumers. In every other industry nobody can do what gaming industry does to their clients.
If u can't fix pvp, take out cyrodill and replace with something else. That simple. No other industry can sell broken things and say it's OK. It's scam everywhere else.
Eso has best pvp I have ever seen in any game, but their team is bad, they focus on content, that kills these game. Pvp is as important or even more important than pve. Pvp is eso strength, but the I don't use it. Their marketing team is horribly bad. They need new team, even live streams have went bad,with 0 useful content. They have got old school. They do everything like they did 6 years a go.

I don't know what is that definition of "cesspool of hate", imo ESO forum is quite civil now and is comparable to what other MMO games have. And before U23 it was much more positive and civil then average forum of mass multi-player game.

Yeah I read that too. It's because Reddit is filled with RP, home building, casuals, new players and beautiful screenshots. Nothing wrong with all that, but generally speaking, your more forgiving and less vocal about lag, combat balance and general health of the game when none of your gameplay is effected by these "so called issues".

I guess the forums are just super negative and it's all in ours heads. 🤭

Yeah I read that too. It's because Reddit is filled with RP, home building, casuals, new players and beautiful screenshots. We have it all here:
- outfit megathread
- housing threads
- screenshots are regularly attached, though they are mostly about lag , but it doesn't make them less beautiful
- build discussions in "combat and mechanics"
- lore discussions - several active threads usually
- new players asking for information, and receiving it
- casuals fighting to remove animation cancelling and so on

Up until end of 2019 eso reddit forum mostly very possitive. Usually guys posting screenshot, their costume, adventure video or newbie asking tips. Recently however its starting to contain complaint similar to this forum. So probly not minority of player anymore angry at zos.

His point was correct and constructive, not bashing Bethesda at all, it should stand as a constant warning for everyone who wants to join ESO to pvp. Until they fix the game, wich they probably never will given that this is roughly how its been for years now and its only getting worse.. Sad.

The only thing that sub is good for is the daily set discussions. Just in general, reddit's content has significantly gone downhill since the shill-bots took over.

I would have to agree, at least so people understand what the current state of the game actually is, or until they are able to start actually fixing things. The current "fix" has literally made things massively worse.
