Sub folders for bank space

How about implementing an option to create sub folders in your bank to make storing and finding things a bit easier. For example, I pre-craft alchemy and provisioning for the dailies, store them in my bank so every char has acces to them. Would be nice if I could store them in a separate folder to keep track. Same for set items or furniture or recipes.
There might be work arounds available via addons, but it would be nice to have such a QoL feature by default.

If you're on PC there are some add-ons which add sub categories to the categories in bags/banks, might help you out.

If you're on PC check out the Advanced Filters addon. It adds sub-categories to all the sections, so for example you can look for just drinks instead of all consumables, or get even more specific and filter by level and other parameters.

And yes I agree completely that this should be base game functionality. Advanced Filters is one of the first addons I installed and it's one of only 2 I can't stand playing without (the other is a mini map, because I have no sense of direction). It seems like a very minor thing but having to scroll through massive lists of stuff to pick out the ones you want is a pain.
