The Antiquities System would be a great Opportunity for an ESO Mobile App!

Some people, including myself if I am completely honest, are not too happy that they have to spend their In-Game time at their PC / Console playing Minigames to get the Mythic Items or new Achievements related to the Antiquities System. However, while being on the move, for instance in the Subway, it is currently not possible to engage in Activities regarding ESO.
Wouldn´t it be great if the players could spend their time advancing the Antiquities System with a Mobile Application, running on iOS and Android?

I think the simplicity of the Scrying / Digging Process would be a great fit for a Mobile Game, allowing the Players to find new Antiquities while they are not at home! :)
Obviously, some more things like Crafting Research or an Overview of the Player´s items in the Bank and on their Characters could also be added, for even more convenience!
Let me know what you guys think!

On console, we have an option called remote play. I was thinking about doing antiquities on my Kindle 😉

I joked that I'd like it since I first saw the system b/c i could put the app on my gf's phone, who loves mobile puzzle games and just send them to her and make her do them for me lol, but was mostly joking.

I'm not too excited for the system b/c I don't care for those types of mini games, but I don't see any other in depth system they'd be able to put the time into, so it's probably the best option. They can't design hundreds of quests or hunts around each item, they need some sort of RNG puzzle to pop up to make players do some activity I guess.

I've thought for ages something like ESO:GO would be great.
Find crafting nodes, treasure chests, theives troves etc and just have it all mailed to you when you login

I think eso needs a companion app in spite of antiquities.

Imagine being able to do daily writs on your phone? Manage guilds, banks and inventories through your phone? Guild stores?

Im just not sure the devs could implement it through all of eso's baggage.

This game could definitely use an official utility app. I’d want to be able to check guild messages of the day, check mail, maybe a simple damage simulator built in based on max stat and weapon/spell damage.

There are many other things that would benefit from it, like news updates, patch notes, crown store showcases. Most people aren’t going to be looking at that stuff right when they are logging into the game, lets do that crap on a phone app. Also, an official eso forums app section would be a sublime addition.

This crap is one of the reasons I'm not buying the latest expansion, it belongs on mobile phones not a modern mmo

Utility app such as for checking mail or guild chat - sure, why not? As long as it does not replace need to actually log in.
Mobile app to speed up progressing in any aspect of the game (such as antiquities) - definitely not.

i think antiquities system its ok for people who love do some explorations instead of go into cyrodiil and kill ppl, but looks so silly have to do a app to play it in your phone // at least i dont agree with the idea of an app for that

As ZOS did show on the Twitch stream, the Antiquities System
is based on TWO ANIMATED EXCEL TABLES:
    • One Excel table for linking cells ("dig sites")
    • One Excel table for finding cells ("Battleship")
I already got TIRED by watching the stream.
To me, this table stuff seems like WORK, NOT FUN.
With a mobile app, at least we could work somewhere else, not while playing ESO...

I choose the "I dont care" option.

Making an app would probably generate ESO more money, which means the dev would pay for itself. Obviously the decision would have to be made on the back of research into the apparent profitability of companion apps, but it wont effect me either way.
