Can’t log in on PC. See enclosed image

I’m an Xbox user and I’m trying to setup my brother on eso. The game is installed but when he presses play, this pop up appears. Can someone help tell me what it means and/or if there’s any solutions please.

There is an error code in the crash report, so at least per ESO help documentation, Error 6:

Thanks guys but we’ve tried repairing it a few times and nothing is working. Just tried repairing it again and we’ve noticed it’s closed the game down for some reason

Stupid question, are your system drivers up to date? Have you made sure your GPU drives up to date? Dose windows have any updates?

There are many reasons why a client crash might occur. It could be anti-virus software deleting false positive files, causing the client to be missing files upon execution. You could be missing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables, etc..

Below is an old thread I found, which if you scroll down a bit, provides some simple text file editing you can do to perhaps resolve the issue.

If you think it's your anti-virus causing the issue, you might be able to check the its notifications and see if any files have been quarantined or altered. In that same thread above, Zenimax responded with the file directories you may need to make exceptions for. Please do not uninstall your anti-virus software to fix this, there are usually always workarounds.

If you can copy and paste everything from that crash report (the bottom portion or the window with the scroll bar) into a pastebin to read through, that will hopefully give more exact insight on what went wrong.
