Whether OP deserves compensation or not is irrelevant. When we accepted the licence contract to play the game, we accepted that ZOS has no obligation to provide access to the server.

Now, whether that clause is abusive or not isn't for me to tell, I know a thing or twelve about laws, but not US laws, and not commercial stuff anyway. The fact is, without a lawsuit, you won't get anything from them unless they decide to be generous.

There has been no such case of generosity in the past 5 years, AFAIK.

VERY early in ESO, when subs were mandatory, there were a few instances of ZoS giving a few day of extended subscription when issues happened. I received them a couple times. Of course that is ancient history and we had GM's in game then too.

Today ESO is a different critter and yes, you agreed to no compensation when you agreed with the TOS. It's literally pennies a day so it's not a big deal...

I meant time compensation as in you lose 20h of gameplay, the ESO subscription is extended by that much.

It worked like that on another mmo i was playing, so that is why i asked if here they add the time back.

I went and dug up the clause from ToS. This is the official word from ZoS.......

6. AVAILABILITY OF SERVICES AND CONTENT; GAME MAINTENANCE, PATCHES, UPDATES; TERMINATION OF SERVICES
ZeniMax does not guarantee that any Services will be accessible or available at all times, in all countries and/or all geographic locations, at any given time, or that ZeniMax will continue to offer any particular Services for any particular length of time. Except as prohibited by applicable law and subject to the Statutory Obligations (as defined in Section 1), ZeniMax reserves the right to change and update Content without notice to You. One of the "I agree" you clicked on allows ZoS to not give compensation.
But it would be nice of them if they would give small crown items (pots, poisons, food, soul gem etc.)
