Arterial burst not dodgeable intented?

Was playing against an opponent using this ability and noticed that i died to this ability while roll dodging. Tested afterwards to see if it was dodgeable, it was not. I managed to dodge his light attacks but not his ability. Never heard about a melee ability beeing undodgeable when you need to select a target.

Anyone know if this is intended or a bug?

best thing to do is submit a bug ticket on the feedback so it can be investigated. they'll decide if it's intended or not

Surprise attack is undodgeable as well for some reason. At least I always get hit by it even though I dodge. I think instant cast melee attacks are just extremely fast and hit immediately. Arterial Blast and Surprise attack in particular are very fast.

Surprise attack is dodgeable, you dont get hit while rolling, however with arterial blast you get hit even while roll dodging. And abilities hitting instantly wouldnt matter when you are mid roll-dodge as it would miss anyway.

I just can not tell if this is due to server lag or something else.

Have you tested if both morphs of eviscerate are dodgeable or only one?

Probably server lag. There was a time when concealed weapon was undodgeable, but that has since been fixed as far as I'm aware. Eviscerate should be dodgeable also to keep in line with other single target damage abilities.

I also think it should be dodgeable, provided this is not merely a bug anyway.

Back in the day all magicka based melee attacks and certain class melee attacks would be undodgeable, this used to be a full blown feature with skills like conceal and surprise attack hitting thru dodge, its still easy to hit people thru dodge with them on live if you time it right, but before it would land 100% of the time.

They probably created the skill how they normally did and like I said didn't remove that aspect which was nerfed years ago.

like I said this used to be a feature for YEARS and was nerfed and removed from most skills, so they will probably remove it from vampire.

I personally used to love the feature if melee magicka being undodgeable XD
