Hey ZOS, can you please create a change class system? That would be great.

    ZOS has said recently they have no interest in a class change system.

    They also had no interest in Necromancer and claimed it was impossible in ESO.

    @RedReign

    When did Zos say a necromancer class would be impossible? I have never heard such an absolute statement from Zos on the matter.

    Around the time Summerset was announced. Claimed it was impossible to add and that nobody would play it anyway because Necromancers were the bad guys.

    No game I've ever played has done this nor should they. Seriously, you can level a new toon to 50 in 10 days or less and your achievements will still hold on your original toon. Why do you need them on other ones? No one else is going to critique your lack of them. I don't get it, what am I missing?

    Literally ALL OTHER mmos have a class change system. The two main ones though are WoW and FFXIV. Ffxiv lets you level all classes on 1 character and they are more like skill lines. WoW lets you change class with a purchasable token.

    What total nonsense.

    You can't change class in WoW, all you can do is roll a new character of the chosen class and buy a level boost, which isn't the same thing at all. FFXIV is not a single class game that allows class changes, it was designed from the start as a multi-class game. I don't know of any other MMORPG that allows you to change class, and I've been playing them on PC since 1998. If you know any, please list them.

    I recently saw a data-mining video for World of Warcraft that included a class change service. Of course all data-mining needs to be taken with a grain of salt, but I wouldn't be surprised considering all the changes coming to the classes in Shadowlands, I'm sure Blizz will make a small fortune from this service if it does go live.

    That said, if WoW does it, and makes bank, I wouldn't be surprised if other MMOs follow, including ESO.

    I personally am against class change for many reasons, I won't list them all. The biggest reason that would effect the most amount of people is that it would encourage so many people to switch to the flavor of the month class.

    I get why people want it though. I am VERY attached to my first character because they are the character I have done everything on, all the questing and such. They have all the achievements and have completed everything. It helps that achievements and rewards like dyes are account bound, because my "main" is a class I don't particularly care for, so I play them less and less, except they are the one I first bring to new content and go through all the quests and stuff with. So I totally get the appeal, I wish my main was a different class. But I hope they don't. (Even though I will 100% hypocritically use it if they do).
