After reading the pts notes carefully it’s apparent we are gonna be heading towards
Magsorc meta in PvP, buff to pirate skeleton is clearly favoriting shield stacking, ridiculous amounts of damage granted from master destro staves and buffs to sets like amber plasm. See you on your sorcs in about 2 months from now everyone

sorcs have always been op and are the most played class in pvp at mo, you can shield stack 7 shields on them if you include barrier

I haven't bothered to count but let' say for sake of debate your 7 is correct. If you're dying to this mythical unicorn sorc with barslots to stack 7 shields, you're doing something wrong in pvp.

If you can't kill him because he is essentially a 7 shield stacking tank, but he hits like a wet noodle, welcome to tank meta of pvp. Good or bad, legit debates about tank meta, but it's not like plenty other classes/builds can't become ultra tanky as well.

its not a tank build its like armour with a magicka pool of 50k with crafty alcet

This is about to change with the healing nerf and nerf to multiple defensive monster sets, sorcs and their mobility is going to put them way ahead of anything else, wait 3 months till the nerf sorc threads really start popping out when all the good players who have been preferring different classes all make the switch to magsorc.

No magplar is going to be op with the new hist sap and the 13k pen on offbalance set, I’m going to make a nerf thread myself in pts section soon.

Do you realise you can chase a magsorc on any stamina toon by sprinting ?

Do you realize you can use gap closer if you want to truly hard counter range ?

I usually stack only 6 shields with Major Protection, Major Vitality and Major Berserk, all 100% up time ofc and still have 6k SD, 25k pen and 3k mag recovery.

Stam will remain meta as it is now. Don't worry!
That new off balance set will benefit stam far more then mag. As most new sets will.
Was BRP DW really nerfed as it desperately needed. I'm not so sure.

Not to mention the lag. By the time the dizzying swing has ended you're back at your gates, have had a bit to eat and a coffee, and are halfway through war and peace.
