Could someone on pts post some screenshots of the new passives and stage benefits for vampire? I’m curious to see how much the normal abilities cost at each stage now

I’m confused on the vampire lord set. Will it help reduce the costs of non vamp abilities? And decrease cost of vamp abilities?

Not it increases the effects of the stages even further so normal abilities would cost even more, you would take even greater weakness to fire and the Vampire abilities will be even cheaper.

The new passives and debuffs are very interesting, the ability cost increase is pretty drastic however spell parasite (one of the new crafted sets) negated much of that for me

The cost to normal abilities is insane at stage 4 that’s almost not even worth it if you have to sacrifice a full 5 piece set to counter it

Yes that is true, but I think that is the intention here, they want Vampire to not be an obligation but a choice, rather than it working with everything and providing many benefits, it is heavily based around using vampiric abilities, the cost increase reinforcing that. However another way of mitigating this is using False Gods for example, or being a breton, or increasing magicka recovery.

Light Armor gives you up to 14% magicka cost reduction if you wear 7 pieces. And you already mentioned Breton which gives 7% magicka cost reduction for abilities, and there's also the crafted set Seducer. That set not only has magicka recovery but it also gives up to 10% magicka cost reduction for abilities.

Some classes will benefit from it more than others. My Breton Magplar already runs Seducer(5 light) which gives me 25% cost reduction in magicka abilities. I was thinking about using Buffer of the Swift with it for damage mitigation, and then Slimcraw for damage. Vampirism is going to give you 50% cost reduction in sprint. Stack that with the light armor passive for sprint cost, that is a potential 65%(total) when you wear 5 pieces of light armor. Pair that with Race Against Time and you could literally vanish from your enemy after 3 seconds(RAT gives Major Expedition for 4 seconds).

Toppling Charge or Hypnosis or Stupify?

Puncturing Sweeps or Arterial Burst or Simmering Frenzy.

I would say such things depend on how far into vampirism you want to go, I cannot recommend simmering frenzy in pvp as battle spirit will make sure you can't upkeep it well, sated fury is a much safer morph that still provides plenty damage output, Arterial Burst is a really good spammable morph if you can get under 50 and not die, as the spammable is really strong and a guaranteed crit would be nice for burst, and the hypnosis vs stupefy is dependant on the situation, hypnosis is an aoe stun for those that face you, while stupefy is a conal stun that snares as well
