Maintenance for the week of July 13:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – July 13

You can make my banker actively stay out of the way, but you can't do that for my pets?

The banker, who I really want to interactive with, actively beams out of the way many times. Yet my pets, who I never interact with, block my (and others) access to things.

You have this backward!

Yes, I love the dps of my bear but there are days I don't use him because I'm sick of dancing to get him to stand where I want.

I think it's because the game is trolling us, but since it is 'by design' we're not supposed to have an issue with it.
The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

Your banker might stay out of your way, but he doesn't necessarily stay out of other players' way. I've gotten pinned between a doorway and someone's banker more than once when trying to enter the Rimmen bank, unable to move around him, and the only way I could get free was to go back out of the bank and go back in again, which finally let me get around him because I'd presumably pushed him away from the door a little bit the first time I entered the bank. And why anyone needs to have their banker assistant out while they're inside a bank is beyond me. (shrugs)
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

Annoying. But note that he stays out as long as you are in the same zone. So he may have been out before they came into the bank.

Banker and merchant out full time in dungeons is damn annoying as well, constantly selecting them when you are trying to loot or attack. They should despawn automatically after 10 seconds of no use, or when in combat.

Just hide them when you are in combat, possibly with some provision to allow them out if the "owner" is not actively in combat. I usually only take them out to clear some bag space to loot more.

Me: *summons Ezabi and immediately opens dialogue*
Ezabi: Nope, gonna move over there so I can talk to you better. Like, way over there. Seems comfy, I dunno. Catch ya later?
Me: Your dialog was already open, you already could talk to me!
    Ezabi: Yeah but over there!

This used to happen ALL THE TIME before the recent fix. Annoyed me to no end, too.

It can (and does) still happen in certain circumstances, but thankfully that's very rare nowadays.

Sorc pets also seem to have no concept of personal space, and constantly block my own interactions.

Last week I ran into an obnoxious flappy bird blocking access to the writ boards in the Alinor crafting area... I started looking around for the owner of the bloody thing, and then I realized that it's my own flappy bird. Oh. :D
