Hi,
First of all as always I will be speaking from point of mostly PvP but I keeping in mind overall ESO (both pve and pvp). Like before I start that we need what title suggest, keep in mind my dear enraged magicka players that
once more vampire skill line is dedicated to magicka. If we consider magicka skills that can be used in fight not only as buffs then suddenly we have overwhelming disproportion. DK/NB (with vampire rework will be quite competitive - huge dmg), Templar, Warden, Necro - each one of those magicka classes feel different in playstyle. Sorc move like crazy is closest to Gandalf, DK is CC pest that spams lashes and blocks, templar huge heal and blocks, NB with vampire will be crazed dmg bruiser with invisible. While always stamina is just matter of 1-2 skills, buffs and thats it as everybody in PvP use 2h/bow or shield for ransack - thats it (always same).
DW iny my opinion need:
- Rework of flurry - clunky, very glitchy, dmg is spread into 4-5 attacks (I dont remember) so at the end dmg is always smaller then 2h.
- Lack of CC (any),
- Flying blade - I think this skill is good as it provied buff, charge, nice dmg, ofcorse clunky but dagger might interrupt sorc using dark deal or other channeled skill. Its unappreciated skill but it lacks of dedicated weapon set, so still at the end 2h critical charge with even weakened malestrom axe is still better.
- Twin slashes - too smal initial dmg.
My new weapon ideas? 1h weapon focused around agility, criticals and only 1 target focus, polearms for strong utility, CC and aoe. Im not gonna trying do skills etc, as propably it will be ignored by majority of players and ZoS, just throwed simple ideas. What do you think? I've seen quite alot of such threads but so many years passed since we had something Stamina dedicated (if ever, cant recall anything rly)...
