vMA and vDSA Perfected weapons debacle Solution

How about you grant a consumable item per character that has cleared vMA that gives a free upgrade to Perfected version when the update goes live? And what if on top of getting the perfected version of a random weapon with a random trait upon clearing, there is also the chance to get one of those consumables. That way even though we HAVE TO re-grind it all over again, you're not punishing those that have already been through all of it so hard.

When the drops are RNG-based and the items in question are BIS for many dps builds? There's no point in this, but a huge time sink (and Orisnium/ESO+ sales).

They push hard so ppl forget about real deal the one and only - performance. This is their escape for years, implement bizzare changes when people are mad at performance so they lost interest in that and start to worry about nerfs and changes. Its called inception. Easy

Why can't they just update the sets to the new version, they do this all the time when they make changes to sets. Just seems lazy that they aren't doing it now and forces people to re grind all over again when they shouldn't have to.

I can understand they want to add a weapon to nMA and having a perfected version for vMA let's ZOS differentiate the two levels. However this does not mean they need to punish those players that have already completed vMA. The best way to handle this is to have the current MA weapon become available in nMA, drop the Perfected version in vMA and upgrade all players who obtained their weapon before the change to Perfected. This accomplishes the addition of a weapon for normal mode, differentiation of the weapon based on hardness level and most importantly does not punish a player who has already spent countless hours to obtain a vMA weapon.

Yes they like to punish the people that made this game popular. i have gotten so many people into this game, even started and filled a guild.. Soooo many have left after changes like this. so many good friends playing newer different games now.
