About vMA and vDSA weapons not being automatically converted to their Perfect versions

I believe I speak for a majority of the players (who have these weapons) here, not automatically converting these weapons to their perfected version is a bad idea to say the least. It doesn't respect the time investment put by players already. Many have farmed for countless runs in vMA (100+ runs) to get the item that they want, and these people are not looking to go through the grind rigmarole again. If you are adamant about not converting these weapons automatically, at-least introduce a token system that improves rng

I have just literraly finished writing my feedback in the main thread, saying the forums will explode with drama in no time over this.
For the record i have spent months farming VMA for the right weapons with the right trait( this was before transmute and guaranteed weapons).
I *** well expect them to be upgraded to represent the mode i earned them in. We are talking about 4-5+year old content, cant expect people to start running content we have cleared a thousand times over.
And really there is no reason NOT to upgrade them, literally 0.

After more than 100 chances at vMA rewards I still don't have inferno staff, I am not terribly excited to farm stuff again

It's just an Id in the database, 0 technical complexity. Clone Id for non perfected, update original Id for perfected.

Keep in mind that VMA weapons used to have the perfected bonuses, only that it wasnt called perfected back then. They took them away years ago and now they restore them but not to the items they took the Bonus away from in the first place. Thats downright insulting.

I fully agree with OP.

People have spend a lot of time to get vMA (and other arenas) weapons. It is even more frustrating because in the past vMA weapons had a dmg buff that was removed (vMA weapons were nerfed at some point) and now they will get re-introduced again, but we will have to re-grind them.

It is like kick in the face. No joke. ZOS is risking that people will simply stop doing content as it will be risky to invest time, knowing that ZOS can do something like that. In fact they pulled out stuff like that in the past (example: Iceheart was nerfed, just to make new dungeon dlc monster set look better).

Why not to add non-perfected vMA weapons to normal mode, instead of adding perfected ones on Veteran mode and simply buffing all vMA weapons and changing their name by adding "Perfected" prefix ?

This will be a shocking change, I farmed those weapons back before you could not transmute. Countless runs wasted. And what to do it all again and them pay to gold them out for my alts. This can't go live.

I want to at least know why it's not being done.

I can't believe a AAA MMO company can't find a way to automatically change over the items on peoples accounts.

I dont like pve to begin with, and doing the same damn pve content over and over again is a big fat no for me, I did vma enough times already and wont be doing it again, not having my master weapons be perfected after this patch is a rude move from zos, I dont apreciate it.
