Block does not work 50% of the time in combat especially after bar swap while holding block. I dont know how many times I have looked at my character after blocking thru bar swap only to find his or her hands down though I am holding L2.

You call this a performance update?
You really should consider reverting every change back to previous build because this is horrible. Combat has always been clunky. Now it's slower and even more clunkier.

I absolutely hate when people use the term ‘clunky’ on the forum. It’s like that meme from 2010 that becomes stale.

Well their is ton of bug that make the game incredibly frustrating.

We (me and friend) have wasting so much time in fraustvault to get the no-death, every single time killed by a stupid bug, laser who pass through crystal, game who kick random player(s) at the last stage...

We also still try to finish our last vDLC HM, Moongrave today since we have forgot this one ;
We got kill 4 time by a stupid bug when the boss land blood circle in line, the telegraph atk show where it's gonna be, and sometime, he just hit totally random despite the telegraph !

And their is a ton like this across the game who got reported many time and NEVER get fixed (hello 3rd boss at Falkreath who randomly reset).

I'm lucky, I don't have performance issue like lot of people report, but their is so much more problem in this game..
You make us DL 80GO promising it will help to fix, yet, it's worse. The combat feel horrible, I've totally stop weaving / canceling while healing cuz lot of time it make my skill bug and they wont work anymore until I bar swap..

I know everything of this would never be fixed but still feel the need to say it time to time until I find a better game.

I have never seen the game in a worse state. YOURE right about the laser.

It doesn't make the animation of blocking but it blocks, hard to tell if it is working or not ...

I see it a lot.

I think it happens when someone has corrected someone else, when they have used the word "your", when they meant "you are".

Then, the corrected person, wrongly, assumes it's always written as "you're", even when it's the possessive "your".

PS4 EU: yesterday was the worst to date.

- fear is completely broken
- break free animation happens.. TWICE wtf??
- light attacking doesn't work!!
- bash didn't work!!
- dizzy animation swings back forever
- basically nothing was working


This all happened in 15 minutes in an NPC-crowded resource where me and 1 friend fought 2-4 enemy players. So didn't even have a zerg around us..

EDIT: also forgot the block symbol bug which I have had every single day and the constant desyncs, which happens with several skills now.

I won't hold my breath waiting for this to actually get fixed.

You already know what the problem is. Your asinine changes to how animations are treated broke combat. Even if you managed to somehow make things actually function on a consistent basis, the flow of combat will still be complete crap compared to before the animation changes.

Not only that, but you managed to break other animations in the process. You actually managed to break personalities. Every single one of my personalities randomly defaults to the basic no personality animation.

This is some serious amateur-hour hatchet job you have going on with these updates.

So glad to see other people have already taken the opportunity to remark upon the your/you're issue. Made me shiver (and not in the good way), looking at that thread title.

And about the state of the game: On PS4 a lot of us have pretty much given up hope months ago. When one problem gets more or less solved, another appears, and unlike PC we don't even really get feedback from ZOS, despite us describing our problems and submitting tickets all the time! It's horrible, plain and simple.

Edit: I just realized because of a later post that I must have been so distracted by the poor grammar that I didn't actually read the OP correctly. Thought this was about the horrible performance after U25, not about the combat changes. Which, to me, seems like the bigger problem right now, tbh.

imagine adapting...and this block drop while wep swapping is annoying at start but u will adapt and is actually better than before!...I swear some people like only to complain...also is more logical to drop block for 1 second when bar swapping!
p.s. im so disappointed...when I clicked on this I was expecting to see complains about the lagfest that occurs every day now on prime times...trials are unplayable mostly vcr and vss...now is creeping into dungeons as well...and overland is pure cancer unless is a dead zone with minimal population

As a gaming community we have to stop contributing funding to a company who does not listen to their customers, who claims that they have or are fixing issues that are long standing but have not fixed anything and who do not compensate our frustration in any meaningful way.

Everything is profit driven to the point that profit seems to be far more important than making the game playable. As it continues to get worse and worse, ZoS is instead focused on providing new DLC content to generate yet more revenue but not fixing the problems.

There will come a point where the powers that be realize that have made a grave mistake in how they have treated customers, and they will either try to make amends or take the money and invest it in some other MMO so they can keep the broken machine churning out profit.

It's disgusting, people have a perception that corporations are only morally responsible to making their managers and stock holders more money, and that so long as money continues to flow in will not do the right thing, for a reason. It's because it's exactly what they do and it's no different in the gaming industry.

Fix the problems and issues, listen to your customer base. It would be nice to have someone who represents ZoS efforts to actually express we are important and that something is being done, but then that would mean something would have to be done. I have to wonder if maybe this is the very reason ZoS dose not communicate anything.... Well, except for blocking this last twitch stream, how much time was devoted to explaining that fix and yet it's broken and everything else as well is still broken?

If you all think this is a bad company that doesn't listen to their players you really haven't played a lot of MMOs. ZOS actually does listen, care and try to make things constantly better.

On the other hand the state of the game is hilarious, did WGT yesterday, one player was unable to light attack and the final boss glitched becoming immortal. Lucky when we wiped we were able to do it again and finish the run.

Seems to me they channeled the €€€ from milking ESO players for other games in production, and as bad politics are contagious, other games failed aswell.

I just don't believe they have resources to fix the game anymore, ZoS is just keeping the game in the waterline, barely.
