Can we PLEASE change power extraction / sap essence

If you change / combine the bonuses this skill could actually be useful, much more coherent and make much more sense:

Now
Power Extraction gives major brut/sorc, does physical damage and reduces weapon power
Sap Essence gives major brut/sorc does magic damage and heals

What would make a lot more sense
Morph 1 (dont care which does what): Does magic or physical aoe damage based on your highest stat (same as soul trap) and gives major brut/major sorc
Morph 2 Heals you and your group and reduces weapon power of enemies

this way you have a clear DD morph and a clear Tank or Healer morph, as of now it makes no sense and i dont see anyone using any of the morphs

    The idea weakens the Magicka version. As someone who has played a magicak NB in both PvE and PvP since 2014 I consider the suggested change to be very bad and would make the skills less useful and less coherent than the current design.

    Though I will say you are starting to think like a Zos developer. After all, they have chosen to screw up a couple of other NB skills in the same manner. Especially since what they find to be coherent and useful we tend to balk at. BTW, Zos has hired some players into the combat team.

    For both morphs...the two things I'd like to see:
    1) The ability for them to give you the Major Brutality/Sorcery buffs without the requirement to hit an enemy.
    2) Be able to use them from stealth without breaking stealth.

    I'd be cool with your suggestions too if they also implemented both options above for both morphs. NB has been nerfed so much lately (cast time on our single target assassin ult???)...they could use a little love.

    The healer is already using Sap Essence. Heck, I have healed vet dungeons on my magblade and love Sap Essence as I do both damages and heal the group.

    Stam and magicka players not wanting to spend on pots to get major brutality are using their respective morphs.

    Your idea would lead to less usage. It would make it a crappy heal for healers as they have other heals that can do the job with less risk to them.

    So the real question is who would use the skills you suggest. Nobody. Bad heal for healers the no longer have any real benefit to putting themselves at risk getting in the middle of the mix. Might as well heal on any other class with the healing spring spam (boring). No real benefit for tanks over their current choices. That pretty much takes care of what you sugegst are advantages. Really no real benefit for many with the changes you suggest.

    2 would never happen, they keep trying to nerf stealth ganks not buff it.
    1 would buff stealth ganks though tbh 2 handed can already do this so you'd either have to remove the 2hander version or les sap do this option.

    but again with how they keep nerfing NB they clearly dont understand that NB has very little without their stealth, this is down to the fact they pigeonholed all of the buffs into gankblading that it made it so any other build sucked.

    NB is feeling this sting more and more as they nerf the stealth focus

    I don't agree with removing heal from my morph without adding anything meaningful instead. Actually, I don't agree with removing heal from my damaging skill at all. This is just another nerf thread. Shame on you.

    No dmg & healing at the same time would kill this skill completely. In fact, you will have to change its name. The whole point of this skill is to Extract / Sap something from the enemy and giving it you & group. Without de-buffing / dealing dmg to enemy, you are better of with slotting different skill altogether...
