All the possibilities with Vampire cosmetic potential if Skins didn't override vampire appearance.

Back in the day years ago, Skins would not override vampire skin appearance. This allowed for a unique blending with vampire appearance and the skin. This was before the cosmetic menu or ui menu.
I wished there was a toggle or option that made it so skins didn't override vampirsm but worked with it.
Here is the Soul Shriven Skin, at the time it was basically the only skin I had. Other skins had impossible requirements and I did not own the mind shriven skin.
This is before the cosmetics menu that removed this unique blending.

This is another one.

With the blending, the first screen shot I posted above. You could make a very great gaunt or older or both vampiric appearance reminiscent of the Stage 4 Cyrodiil Vampires. That is just my opinion. Though the skin is more shriveled and you still have a paler look as a result of the blending it also has that gaunt look about it and to me it feels like an updated or modded version of how the Cyrodiilic vampire's looked but more natural.
Examples of the possible vampire cosmetic options. What you could do with them.
Soul Shriven+ Vampirism= Cyrodiilic Order Vampire.
The Sea Elf Skin+ Vampirism +Oracle eyes= Authentic Maomer/Sea Elf Vanilla style.
Bloodforged or Meridian Skin+ Vampirism = A close looking Volkihar Vampire with just the glowing eyes. With the mix of the two they might look close to actual volkihar vampires that don't have the bat like features like some of the members of the clan that were shown.
Bloodfiend+ Vampirism could be a more hideous Volkihar like feel. Would be an interesting combination.

All the other potential combinations with the skins to make a more unique and varied vampiric appearance. Imagine the possibilities with this could really see some interesting vampire+skin Combos that would really look good and could be show cased. But unless they modify the skins in the cosmetic section to have a toggle option to over ride or not this isn't going to be possible.

Given how many people use skins to override vampire appearance, this probably won't be as popular as the option to hide vampirism completely.
I must admit I was incredibly disappointed to find out that the vampire skin would not show through on my sorc using arctic rime. I'd known that people talked about using arctic rime to hide their vampirism -- but I didn't think they meant one skin straight up replaced the other! If it didn't, my sorc would be perfect. I'm glad that people have at least some option to hide vampirism if they want to, but sad that these cosmetic skins don't layer with the appearance of the affliction.

I'm not sure how the unique blending in the OP works, but just having the vampire skin be on a layer below the cosmetic skins would certainly make me one happy camper. Alas, this falls in line with all the other vamp customisation requests (from hiding it to toggling faded/not faded tattoos) and isn't exactly a priority. Would be nice though.

Maybe when you don’t have to look like a zombie to get the perks out of vampirism.
Maybe when various markings aren’t hidden by vampire skin.
Maybe then...maybe, but probably still no because there are too many issues with markings not showing, to then take them away completely by having this ‘merge’.

Well that is why I want it to be a toggle option in the options menu to choose if skins override vampirism or not.
