Human non combat pet?

I've noticed, especially among the Alik'r dolmen usual mob, a human female figure that behaves like a pet. Not armed and dressed with shirt, boots and long trousers. This is likely a naive and noobish question, but is this a new pet? Not that I'd want one...

✭✭✭✭✭It might be the assistant that is a vendor. It is sold in the crown store and we can sell items to it.

There are two different assistants (well, technically 5, but two are Alfiq and the other is the Khajiit fence). The OP saw the Redguard merchant, you’re talking about the Dunmer banker.xXMeowMeowXx wrote: »The pet is the male darkelf assistant *smh*

Are you joking? This is exactly what I saw: a female toon, following passively (run if run, walk if walk, etc) a playing character. Like the animal pets in this game all do. Her dress was what I described, and it was the only humanoid figure there not bearing weapons. Actually, I was amazed and a bit embarrassed by what I saw.
If you want to see the devil where it is not, be my guest, but do not put moralistic interpretations where they are out of place.
