I was thinking it might help encourage people to stay at home. A lot of companies have taken simular enitiative.

✭✭✭✭✭Well no one knows how this may play out yet but there is the Anniversary Festival coming up in April.
More importantly though if we get to that stage it's likely the gods of Tamriel themselves may be afflicted and in that case any kind of festival or event is the least most important thing of all.
